I got my DMP-A6 about a week ago. I’m using Apple Music on it and downloaded about 50 albums. I ordered a 2 TB SSD card and it came today. I just formatted it and it’s ready to go. My question: is it not considered best practice to have some music stored in the original storage and the rest stored on the new SSD card? I can’t find any info on transferring the existing downloads to the SSD. Perhaps it makes no difference to have the library split between two different drives? Thanks.
I would prefer having all local music files on the SSD instead of using both. I keep the internal memory clean for firmware updates and additional apps. You can use the files app on the device or the control app on your mobile devide to copy from one storage to another.
