The songs search present on the screen doesn't work very well...
Is there anything I can do to improve it?

Hello , sorry I totally understand what you
Are saying, but I don’t quite understand
Fully as to screen control selection are you saying when you maneuver commands on the screen itself on the unit In what terms do you mean does not work very well example
when touching screen to execute command, it just doesn’t work or does nothing or perhaps execute or performs in other feature,

I have always used an outboard SSD drives plugged into the rear of the unit in lieu of my own personal beliefs and opinions
in which some folks agree and other folks don’t, for reasoning that would be too lengthy to get into at this present time, however, this may be not your existing problem as when you search for song naturally it would all depend upon where said song or selection is being sourced from. I just put that out there, but do not want to jump ahead of what your problem may or may not be.

However, I have no such problems with the
A8 I’m currently using in my system,
Is it possible you can be just a bit more explicit, As to what exactly transpires and what takes place after entering your selection input
On units Display screen, I am by no means an expert, but I do retain some limited knowledge due to my own past experiences

I don't understand why if I type a single word of a title, it doesn't find anything... if I type the artist, it finds it instead.
    Example:
if I type Jamming, it doesn't find anything.
If I type Marley, it doesn't find anything.
If I type Bob Marley, it finds Jamming!
    Why?
Is there an indexing to do?

If you've defined a Library and scanned it, then indexing is done.

How do you scan the library?
    Tnx

If you go to the Library bit of Music, then if a Library is defined it will list the elements of the library like folders, could be just one element. If you longpress on the element or alternatively click on the 3dots at the right hand side of the element, you will get a menu. On the device itself (or via Screen/Cast), this has an Update option, press this and it will scan the library and register any changes required. On the App, the option may use Scan language rather than Update.
