Has anyone had any luck side loading the newest offering of Apple Music 5.1.1 from the APKpure site? I'm following the below instructions, but the app fails to open properly. Any suggestions?

    1) Format a flash drive to FAT32.
    2) Download the Apple Music app (or others) from apkpure.com to your computer - the download should have the extension "xapk" which is a compressed file.

Eversolo cannot read this compressed file, so:

    3) On my MacBook Air, using the "getinfo" and rename functions in Finder, I renamed the .xapk file extension to .zip
    4) Double click on the new .zip file
    5) Drag the resulting com.apple.android.music.apk file to your FAT32 formatted flash drive - note .apk, not .xapk or .zip at this point
    6) Insert the flash drive into the DMP A-10 and follow the loading steps on the screen.
    7) Add the Apple Music logo to the apps section on the home screen
    8) Enjoy!

So, your initial statement is a little misleading... does the APP in the end load and work properly, or does it not?
If not, it may be because it relies on features of Android that are not available in the older Android version the Eversolo devices are built on.

The APP loads but will not open on my DMP A-10. You may be correct about it not being compatible with Eversolo's older Android version. I'm so curious if others have found this to be the case. Thank you Nutul.

Which specific one have you downloaded?
It seems to me that those with architecture specified (arm64-v8a and/or arm-v7a) may have both native linux executables + Android (well, Java...) layer on top; while those marked universal should be just pure Java (hence not hardware dependent).

Some other fellow having successfully installed a newer version of AM could just chime in and share experience.

I've tried twice to load the latest version 5.1.1 but no luck. According to ChatGPT, version 4.9.7.2 is recommended, as follows... Based on user reports from the Zidoo/Eversolo forums in late 2025.
Apple Music APK version 4.9.7.2 is considered the most stable, fully functional version for Hi-Res streaming on Eversolo streamers. While version 5.0.1 and newer have been reported to work, they often break the Hi-Res/192kHz capabilities on the DMP-A6/A8, reverting playback to lower quality or causing streaming issues.

As you mentioned, I'd love to hear if anyone has installed a newer version.

I tried a newer version of Apple Music and it didn't work for me either. I'm running 4.9.x (not sure which version, but it's not version 5.x)
