I’m a bit confused - are you referring to reauthor or to Patcher?

 

"Rock Music" is not correct, as it would imply also "Jazz Music", "Pop Music" etc. etc.
Although GENRE is a string, and any should apply, maybe the Eversolo recognizes / treates as valid only single-word genres (or maybe it has an internal table it matches against (wrong in my opinion)... could be everything; but just try to stick to single-words (you can also try Rock-music, with the dash, to see if any of what I said makes sense, as it takes no time to check.

Sorry for the confusion, I'll try to explain, hoping the translator does its job well.
I use SACD ISO Patcher when I have an ISO and want individual files. I usually always extract them in DFF/DST, and in this case, Eversolo recognizes Artist, Song Title, and Album. When I want to create an ISO with DFF or DSF files, I use Reauthor, and in this case, Eversolo recognizes the same tags as DFF files with the addition of the genre, so that's great. Now we need to see which genres Eversolo recognizes, because as I said, it recognizes JAZZ but not ROCK MUSIC. I think it would be useful to have the option to manually enter genre one or add it to the list of genres recognized by Eversolo.

Once again: no, there are no genre strings on the disc itself - and therefore not in Eversolo, Patcher, reauthor, or any player that reads SACD ISO - if the SACD specification is followed.
The genre on the disc is a 4-byte code: table number (1 byte) + reserved byte (1 byte) + index (2 bytes).
There is simply nowhere to store a genre string there. Among the format's text fields, there is no "genre" field. A genre string can appear only in the tags of extracted files (ID3 in .dsf/.dff) and that has nothing to do with the disc itself.
The index is mapped to a genre through the declared table: table 1 is the general table (see below), table 2 is the Japanese table (RIS504), 0 means the genre is not used (in which case the index must also be 0), and 3..255 are reserved. There can be up to 4 genres per album, up to 4 per disc, and one per track.

I can't figure it out, I have an ISO made with your program and in the Eversolo genre table it shows that album with jazz genre, I put jazz genre as always in the album metadata and for each single track....

 

Did you rebuild the library after your changes?

Ah, you mean reauthor, not Patcher. If I’ve finally understood you correctly, reauthor is still very rough. I only posted a preview version to show what I’m working on. Until I publish reauthor on the webpage, bug reports for reauthor are not accepted.
Please write only about Patcher if you find any bugs or, for example, missing functionality.

So we have the song title, artist name, album title, and genre...
