Running Zidoo Controller on Windows 11

I'm trying to manage a Z9X Pro through a remote connection to a Windows 11 computer on the same network as the Z9X. I had hoped that the web interface would do the job but it seems to be far too limited.

My next approach was going to be trying to run the Android app on an emulator on Windows 11. I got started with setting up BlueStacks, but some steps aren't clear to me. Is there a good site with details on how to do this?

Is BlueStacks a good solution for what I'm trying to do? I want to be able to update firmware, point the Zidoo to the NAS with shared folders containing the videos, etc.

I'm sure I'll have other questions but expect that I'll find those answers elsewhere, especially if there is a good site to guide me.

Thanks in advance to anyone who assists!

Assuming you could get the app working correctly on an emulator, it would need to be on the same subnet as the box. Whether this would work with port forwarding and a WAN address from a remote location is anyone's guess.

    I would try scrcpy:

GitHub - Genymobile/scrcpy: Display and control your Android device

This requires you activate Developer Options on the box and turn on USB debugging there. The first run of scrcpy from a remote computer requires and acknowledgement from the user, but this only has to be done once:

Then you have access to the UI on a PC:
