Request for support of Spotify Lossless[Resolved in v1.5.60, support Spotify connect lossless/24bit]

    Hi, just to raise that topic. Dear Support can yo answer when do you plan to upgrade firmware in DMP-A6 to enjoy Spotify Connect Lossless?

    All my devices (phone, receiver, pc, Mac) can stream Spotify Lossless…. except my streamer: Eversolo

    No one is even angry....it would be nice just to get simple answer from Eversolo Team like "hey guys we work on it, firmware will be upgraded within a month or two months".
    For me the problem is that someone before me asked that question 2 weeks ago and till today no answer from Eversolo.....it's not nice.

    @Zidoo Support-Kim since the requests are in the dozens already; could you please just give some information about when the Spotify Lossless feature will be made available?
     
  8. Support told me to download the latest version of the Spotify app from the Eversolo apps. Once logged in, it works in lossless mode, verified. A little more inconvenient, until they fix it. Thanks

    You dont understand either that using the built-in app is miles away in convenience than using the app in your phone?

    It would not work for me .It told me i was logged in to different area than I was in . Weird. I downloaded the Spotify app on APK Pure and lossless worked fine on that download.

    I've been trying to install the Spotify app on the Play. When I log in, I always get a "You can only use Spotify abroad for 14 days" message, and it just takes me back to the log in screen.

    Needless to say, I'm not 'abroad,' I'm at my home location.

    thats what i got too. Download APK Pure and download the Spotify app from there. Lossless with work on that install.

    I think the 'sideloading' of apps onto the Play is a bit beyond me. In any event, what I really want is to be able to stream Lossless with Spotify Connect (rather than use the Spotify app on the Play) -- hopefully this is forthcoming in a Eversolo update.

    Hi, this kind of issue has no business with our streamer, it's due to the region are different between sign up & using.

    Small problem, not with the sound but with the Apple TV control app: no album cover on the TV screen when using the internal Spotify player.


    Also; I am guessing that most people would find it a bit more convenient when we could use Spotify connect without using the internal player. Like we do using Tidal Connect or Qobuz Connect.

    Might we see this option in the near future through a firmware update?

    So, good news. I rebooted the Play and re-downloaded the Spotify app. It now allows me to log in successfully (no more warning that I'm 'abroad'; I never changed anything in my Spotify account settings, it just works now).

    Just to be clear, to get Spotify Lossless on the Play, the "device" I should have selected on the Play is actually "This Phone," not the "Play" itself, correct?

    Yes, This Phone (which is Eversolo, not your phone)

    Anyway, the Spotify app in the device is just a workaround, the real solution is adapting Spotify Connect. By the way, using the bult-in app you don’t see anywhere that it is playing Lossless, you only have the option to enable it, but no “lossless” label is shown when playing
