Quick Fix Released for Poster Wall App Matching Issues

    Dear users,

    We sincerely apologize for the delayed response due to the Qingming Festival holiday in China.

    Regarding the matching issue in the Poster Wall app, we have released a quick fix. For users who wish to upgrade immediately, please download the appropriate version based on your device model, or wait for our staged OTA push – we will be rolling out the Poster Wall app update separately.

    Download links:



    1. Fixed the problem of occasionally not being able to obtain trailers
    2. Optimized the TV series matching function
    3. Fixed the problem of occasional crashes

    There are two main ways to install the update:
    1. Download the APK to a USB drive and install it via the file manager
    2. Use remote installation via IP:18888

    One question regarding this fix for my Z9X, do I have to back-up my collection in the Home Theater before I install the fix?
    I don`t wanna re-match everything so that`s why I ask in advance.

    Besides that, will the issue be adressed and fixed if I just wait and sit it out?

    And finally, how to back-up my posterwall / collection, in case it will be lost after I install the fix?
    That would be a very big amount of work and I did re-match everything after I switched to the Z9X and don`t really feel like doing it again.
    So my question is, is there a description out there for backing up the poster wall?

    thank you its working

    i put the file in FlashDisk
    go to APK installer in apps
    and install it directly inside the apk installer apps

    done and working perfectly like before.

    Thank you for the fix ! Scraping is back !
    There is also some improvement as it upgrades HT4 to HT5 for the 1619DR series.

    Unfortunately, fix for online trailers is not working (confirmed with other users).

    hi, please help, i have installed the patch which fixed the problem, but it created a new problem - now in the movie detailed page, about 50% (in an "L" shape) of the movie poster is totally blacked out whereas before the fix, the "L" shape area was partially see-thru like in this photo below:

    I would really prefer the old format, is there any way to change it back? (I tried all the settings in the Preference but none works.) The blacked out area makes the previously large background movie poster looks tiny and miserable...

    Does anyone get that weird halo effect on the movie background image after installing a quick fix?

    The halo effect is either a new setting or something I didn't notice before.
    You can simply turn it off in Settings > Preferences > scroll down to the bottom and turn off "details dynamic background".
    When turned off everything is back to normal.

    I'm fine . Now the file information is not cut (if there are a lot of paths and subtitles). And now all the photos of the actors are immediately visible - before there was a photo only on the selected actor.

    I must be doing the wrong procedure, because I downloaded the zidoo_poster_1619_v4.3.37_beta.apk onto the flash drive. I inserted the flash drive into the Zidoo Z10 Pro and went to the appinstaler and installed Home Theater 5.0, but I can't get the posters for the new movies that I have added to my library. I'm very disappointed.

    Well, unfortunately for those who do not like the new layout look of HT5, it came along for the ride with the fix for TMDB access.. what we are now seeing is what the 8k devices had already gotten updated to with one of their recent firmware updates.. The new look seems very polarizing.. with many not liking the removal of so much of the background fanart image and such... and others like myself kind of actually digging the cleaner look. Not sure if there will be options added to return to the old style or not...

    The patch causes HT to lag, and movies and series episodes do not show the duration or time.

    Hello there, I did apply the fix and now I have a new issue which really bothers me and I can`t find a way to "fix" it.

    Since the update there´s no display of runtime anymore, all the rest is there, like ratings, country, release year, PG or R-Ratings for example and right next to them there used to be the display of the runtime, like 90 minutes or 120 minutes.
    Now that`s missing and I can`t find anything in the settings that seems to fix that.

    Can you please help and let me know how to fix this?

    For me that`s very important for decision making on what to watch, based on my time available but now I can`t tell anymore. :(

    I do own a Z9X and I wonder why in the screenshots posted above the runtime is still displayed and in my case, it`s completely gone.

    Your help would be very much appreciated, so thank you very much in advance.
