If it’s a MKV file mkvtoolnix will display any errors if you remux the file. There was a mp4 checker but I don’t recall the name…
So were you able to determine exactly how you were getting different posters for the same movie? I actually want to do this so I can see the 3D, Directors Cut etc posters for those movies. Thanks
I think it’s because he spelled the extended cut version AAliens, HT would treat that as different. If it had been named Aliens (1986).(#4SE Extended Cut).MKV possibly wouldn’t have split it off .
So it scraped correctly even when it was spelled with two As? I'm wondering if it just need to add an extra letter to the beginning?
Anyone on how the multiple posters showed up?? We know it's possible but i haven't heard the reason? Thanks
Thinking out aloud : I wonder what would have happened if all the files of the different versions had just been dumped in the one folder Aliens (1986) ???
Sorry, yes you actually taught me that and I’m very appreciative of that tip! But also, how did you get a rip of the IMAX aspect ratio of that movie? Lol isn’t it only on Bravia streaming?
Sorry - I understand now I didn't - I just used dummy mkv files to demonstrate how to do it because the guy asking the question had 3 versions of the movie.
DANG IT! Makes total sense though, and once again I massively appreciate you showing us how to do multiple versions like that. Have already implemented it in my own system.
I have currently a lot of TV series copied as ISO files, for exsample. SERIES_SEASON_1_DISC_1 SERIES_SEASON_1_DISC_2 SERIS_SEASON_1_DISC_3 I now see that it might not have been the best option for TV serieses . Is it better to split this discs into episodes, like this: SERIES_S1_E01 or is there a way to rename the ISO discs so that the TV scraper will understand it better?
