Qobuz problems…… still?

Hello everyone, just a quick question to those who use the Qobuz app with their T8. (Not Qobuz connect), using the latest OTA 1.5.75
While chilling on the sofa yesterday unfortunately I experienced quite a few songs skipping after playing for only a short period of time! Some songs played fine, others were like l wrote, skipping. Even after replaying the ones that skipped, they would inevitably skip again!
It could be just my system, unstable internet yesterday or are other people still experiencing problems with Qobuz and their migration to new cloud servers.
Please share your experience atm with Qobuz? Thanks

Hello, please check the “Feature request” thread posts from March, you’ll see some details there!

Thanks Adrian, lt was suggested today that clearing the Caches on our devices would help! Will check that out when I’ve the opportunity again and see what happens.

i also thought clearing the cache would help, but in fine it doesn’t.
    This skipping is totally aleatoric.
I am pretty dissatisfied and disappointed to see no involvement of Eversolo to solve this issue .

Please don't. The devs are indeed working on every issue. It just takes time, especially when external sources - like in this case - are involved. There are many and many cases in which this has been proven. Can you name another company fixing issues at client-demand at this pace...?

Yes indeed clearing the caches on my iDevices did nothing. Oh well, as Nutal mentions above…….”patience Grasshopper” .
For me the Eversolo T8 still rocks, a solid investment!

Sorry, today I checked that currently there's no new process yet.
In fact, the selected cases I know, are quite diverse. Tidal/Qobuz, using connect or streaming app on device... It's related to the server.

Luckily, Peter Gabriel’s “Ovo” (24/44.1) plays flawless! Right, DougT? :)
Btw, one of my favorite albums of all times!

Well spotted and yes quite phenomenal but tragical underestimated . And that cover, perfect balance of mood, color and balance in a drifting world that we all find ourselves living in . And what anchors me…..music of course!

This afternoon was a serious breakdown on Qobuz server(s), nothing in app was able to play, even my Favourites dropped. Fortunately it came back after a little while. Now is stable again!

Today I had the opportunity for a long listening session and surprise, surprise……. no skipping on Qobuz! Yippee. Maybe Qobuz has, like me sometimes too, bad hair days and when one thinks “Can it get any worse today” surprises one with a pristine performance . I’ll carry that thought with me for the rest of the week

Hello, my Qobuz had a bed head today, it refuses to play from the first track on some of my favorite jazz albums, eg. Martin Schack-Wetlands and Matthew Stevens-In common…

I have encountered numerous problems with qobuz Night train of oscar peterson stopping after 1’20. Same with Nine inch noize of Nine inch nail on parasite, today it is terra ignota of the group krakato. What is not correct t from qobuz is that the only answer comes from Clara the IA , no one ( a human being) got in contact with me. Previously I could speaker to someone from the team qobuz. This year I have never had an answer from them. The matter is that is no real concurrence, Tidal, Apple, spotify do not give a good sound quality!
    Martin Schack is also corrupted
I wrote to support-help@qobuz.com to complain since there is no phone number to do it I hope I get an answer

Qobuz skipping issues definitely belong to Qobuz, Eversolo can’t do anything to help .
Same issue with Qobuz connect and same issue with other streamer brands.
Apparently Qobuz answer is that they need to re-index their servers , every week or so they (Qobuz) pretend things are improving and we must be patient.
But same skipping issue carry on (even with brand new album releases) for months. ( nearly three months to be accurate )
So we must be patient or skip … to Tidal ?

I have a year subscription, but if I hadn't, I would skip. This said, Qobuz still sounds the best and the skipping seems to have been improved a bit. I'll be patient....

I am in exactly the same situation as you.

Just one question, out of the blue: does the skipping happen when you listen to tracks from various artists/albums in your playlist, or does it happen also if you listen to ONE artist, ONE album from 1st to last track...?

Both, playlists and individual albums. I only use Qobuz Connect. Things seem to have improved over the last weeks but still occasionally occur.

This being said, can anyone confirm that TIDAL (Connect) have none of these problems?
