You have already been told WHO to contact in your other thread; then, use this post of yours to track all the procedure you had to follow in order to have your unit repaired and/or replaced, just as in the post above yours. It would be helpful to others; this is the whole meaning.

Good morning, I contacted Zococity and they quickly told me they couldn't do anything due to a lack of devices (which isn't true because there are 5 listed on Amazon) and therefore I should ask for a refund.
I wrote to Eversolo to find out what to do.

    Hello all,
[Correction] If your unit has the specific power supply issue within 2 years, you can get a free replacement.
Please contact the seller of your streamer to have a replacement. If any cost is charged, here's the SOP.

@Zidoo Support-Kim Excellent solution! And transparent!
For those who are able and prefer, is it possible to request a new power supply while replacing the current one and do the replacement themselves?
For those who can, it would avoid having to travel the entire Eversolo just for the replacement, which would speed up the process and reduce service issues.
    Thank you Kim!

This is very much appreciated, chapeau. Excellent service :)

Maybe they said so because they KNOW the devices are from the SAME BATCH, and therefore they would possibly be defective as well...?
They should, of course, take care of the refund too, shall they really not be able to replace your unit with a fully (?) functional one (at least known not to be of the same defective batch, that is)

My dealer responded to me today and said: We are not aware of any power supply problems with the Eversolo DMP-A6 Gen2 (ME).

I have heard other people around here (of course we talk of different suppliers / vendors / distributors...) who can definitely tell a different story...
I am not saying you talk-nothing, on the contrary... your dealer most probably is trying to dismiss you. Bring this forum to their attention, and pretend they contact Eversolo. Or manace to go to Court.

    Policy Correction:
If your unit has the specific power supply issue within 2 years, you can get a free replacement.
(eg. cannot power on, and the knobs or other parts don't light up either)
If you’re affected by this issue of A6 Gen 2, please reach out to our support team, we will provide power supply components. Also we will reimburse all the expenses incurred by the distributors for replacing the power supply components, including shipping costs.

The wording in our earlier notice was not precise, and I sincerely apologize for the confusion this have caused.
If your device is currently functioning properly, there is no need to worry about any possible losses.

The number of devices affected by the problem batch is not large,
but in order to ensure that all users can use the device with confidence, we have decided to implement a two-year free replacement power supply policy for all DMP-A6 GEN 2 devices for the specific power supply problem, including the batch not affected.

Well. that's quite annoying. For a short while I deluded myself Eversolo was doing the right thing and had already sent an email to the seller. And as I thought, if the problem arises after warranty, we are on our own.....perhaps it's a good idea starting to stress the device with daily repeated on and off.

In EU there is already a 2 years warranty by law...it's not on the manufacturer but on the seller but from a consumer pov changes nothing....and I am fairly sure the seller would revert back to you

Kim, these constant second thoughts really aren't helping. At this point, I'm not sure if it's still possible to request a replacement for power supplies that may be affected by the identified problem.

    Eversolo must understand that:
    1) Anyone who purchased a DMP A6 Gen2 today can no longer be sure of the quality of their product.
    2) The now-known problem is already present on several forums, so DMP A6s that may fail over time obviously lose value if resold.
    3) These devices can be used not only in the living room but also for professional purposes. In this case, their use becomes inadvisable.
    4) With infrequent use, the failure will likely occur even beyond the 24-month warranty period.

In conclusion, I have highly praised and appreciated the features of this device and have thanked you several times for your support and the firmware updates that improve its performance.
Now, however, an effort commensurate with the quality and professionalism demonstrated thus far is needed.

Eversolo should disclose its findings regarding the issue:
    1) Describe the batches affected by the problem so that those who already own one of these devices can arrange for replacements now.
    2) For greater transparency, it would be helpful to also know which components of the power supply are causing the problem (in any electronic device, the power supply is the most delicate module because, in addition to rendering a device unusable, it can also cause more serious problems).
    3) For those who are able to perform the replacement themselves, Eversolo should open a direct channel to send replacement power supplies to those who have already purchased this product. This means a simpler and more direct procedure between the customer and Eversolo, to avoid wasted time and problems with retailers.
    4) For those who require service, they can contact the retailer.

Sometimes a product is affected by manufacturing defects. When these defects affect products from unreliable brands, they end up permanently damaging consumer trust in the brand itself.
But if the brand is Eversolo, then a healthy policy of systematic replacement will only increase trust in the brand.
Thanks and sorry for the length of the post.

I made a personal editing error that led to this correction. I would like to apologize once more, and be more careful with future announcements.
In fact, the announcement has persisted since this thread's creation.
The actual number of affected batches is small. If your device is running normally, there’s no need to worry about any potential issues. If a power supply issue arises, our team will be here to assist.
