I want to update an announcement here:

Eversolo always urges distributors and dealers actively handle after-sales issues. All shipping costs incurred for after-sales services related to A6 GEN 2 power supply problems will be covered by Eversolo.

When it comes to the cost of shipping, two options are available:
    1. Coordinate shipping costs with your seller (we are notifying all sellers). The agent will later settle this with us.
    2. Pay the shipping cost upfront, then contact service@eversolo.com directly with:
    • Device model
    • MAC (found on the bottom label)
    • Proof of shipping payment
    • Your PayPal account for reimbursement
    Note on affected units:
    1. The only production batch that might have been impacted was in February 2025.
    2. All currently sold A6 GEN 2 units and other Eversolo models are unaffected.
    3. If an issue occurs, it typically appears within six months of use.

    Our commitment:
All A6 Gen 2 units come with a 2-year free power supply replacement guarantee if this specific issue arises.
Please rest assured, we would never permit our clients to spend money on equipment that won't be functional in a few years.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding and support. Eversolo remains dedicated to delivering exceptional user experiences and rigorous quality control in all future production.

    Best Regards,
    Kim

    Hi Support Kim,

In you comment you mentioned faulty units in February. I bought mine in February. It’s fine so far. Did your note mean units shipped in February from partners, or built in February by eversolo? Thanks!

    Those manufactured in Feb.

    Thanks, Kim!
I purchased my Eversolo DMP A6 Gen2 on April 7th. It's hard to imagine if it's one of the devices manufactured in February and sold later.
Could you give us an indication of the MAC address range that might be affected by this issue over time?

They gave a rough time-frame od about 6 months during which the issue was more likely to manifest...
Now: you bought it in April (4) + 6 = 10... if my math skills are still good, you have another couple of months possibility the issue affect you too.

The affected batch is that having been manufactured in February this, this year. This has been made public since some time now.
Also, it is being said that the issue manifests itself within, roughly, six months of operation. I guess constant, daily operation.
Eversolo has been transparent ever since it became obvious there was an issue with units manufactured in that period.
Just follow the right threads, as I appear to do, despite the fact I do not own ANY Ax player.

Yes, of course. But having determined that "he only production batch that might have been impacted was in February 2025", it would be possible to communicate the serial number range produced in that period, even if it doesn't mean that your Eversolo will break. At least you would have the information that yours might or might not be affected.

Because of this lack of transparency (No serial numbers list). How can I confidently re-purchase another unit, For all I know my new unit may have been manufactured in February and sitting in a distributors warehouse. Eversolo needs to do better.

If you don’t mind, post the link here where Ever solo outlines the process to get unit units replaced.

The question is, how do I know that the device was manufactured in February 2025?

I had this happen with mine that I bought in January of 2025.

Not really happy with Kim's posting.
Bought my DMP-A6 ME Gen2 in March 2025, so it can produced in February.
But I'm using it very rarely and when unsed, it's completely removed from the power.
So, the six months are for me potentially six years and then warranty is away.

So @Zidoo Support-Kim: Please publish a list from all DMP-A6 Gen2, which can be affected and let the item send back without a yet broken power supply.

That's not really true about February because there are entries that devices that were bought in January and February are also affected.

I powered down my DMP-A6 Gen2 last night and could hear a buzzing from my audio stack. I made sure it was coming from this device. It is a pretty audible high pitched frequency. Once I switch off the back power switch it goes away. Didn't notice this on standby but will keep checking. Would be good to know serial range or something to identify the potential bad batch.

    Thanks!

I just tell what I have heard from one of the reliable Eversolo source-of-information guys over here...
Can you, OTOH, tell exactly the manufactoring date of those "on the edge" devices...?

I've only commented on what I've read, but what I can say with certainty is that I bought my device at the beginning of February 2025, and I'll most likely have to expect that one day it might no longer turn on.

You can be almost certain of that; you know, hope dies last, but were I you, I'd get prepared (get info at your retailer, at least...)

Good morning, I purchased the Eversolo DMP-A6- Gen 2 on Amazon Italy on February 28, 2025, sold by Zococity. It stopped working yesterday. How do I ship it? Who do I contact?
    Can you help me?
    Thank you.

I'd say you definitely need to inform the dealer (Zococity) about the issue with the device. As the seller, they are responsible for this in the event of a warranty claim.
