I have my zidoo connected to LG C2, using universal controller settings im able to control the zidoo 1000 pro using the magic remote that comes with the LG tv. However, theres no menu button on the controller. Is there any way that the developers could add a simple "Menu" keybind choice to the 4 color keys? That would be a huge life saver!
Sorry, but I don't see this happening. I understand your particular problem, but it's an LG issue not a Zidoo one and it wouldn't really make logical sense to provide a key binding to a button that already appears on the remote. Also there are two menu buttons, Top Menu and Pop Menu, each with different functions depending on where you are in the GUI.
sorry for answering an old post but was hoping this issue (yes it is an issue) was fixed before I buy another one. I really don't understand how you can put this on LG, what's the logic behind that? LG is one of the biggest TV-screen manufacturers out there and it would be nice if a company that makes a niche product like the Zidoo would accept that maybe their customers who also owns an LG would like to use one remote instead of two and make it possible to bind it? Or why not make it possible to bind all buttons since remotes tend to wear? Such a small thing for a developer to add, an easy win.
