No control over Logos language and how to separate Concerts/Documentaries from Movies?

My Poster Wall language preference is set to Portuguese. So all the titles and synopses appear correctly, but the logos. When they’re not in Portuguese, they appear in English, and I have some titles with the logos in Chinese. We can only edit the poster image and background. I can’t change the logo, and I don’t want to turn it off, since it gives a nice look to the page. Is there a way to solve this?

It's strange that all of “The Three Colors Trilogy” are with Chinese logos here, and on TMDB, there are options in Portuguese and English for each title.

Also, is there a way to separate Concerts and Documentaries from Movies? I already added categories and set each title to appear on each folder respectively, but they also remain on Movies. I’d like to view them only in their categories.

You can add your own logo, even if it's just a transparent png.

There are several ways to segregate categories like this - depends how many drives/sources you have.

Details of both in attached PDF.

Thank you, Mark! Just set all the categories I wanted as described on the pdf. Now it's organized.

But the logos, I added the file on the movie folder like you said: "Three Colors Blue-clearlogo.png", and still, after scanned, comes automatically, the chinese one.

The movie file is in mp4 with info and poster embed in it, made on Subler. I don't have a .nfo file, so everything that appears on Zidoo is from TMDB. Is that the reason or it's the cache? If I have to clear image cache, I'll lose all the posters and background images I changed manually.

You need to have "Use Local Images First" switched on in Preferences otherwise it doesn't use local images first...

I've updated the pdf with that detail.

Mine was already on. I switched on the first day I used the Poster Wall.

Poster Wall Settings. Use local images first - ON.jpg

And still, the logo doesn't appear correctly after scanned.

It would be ideal to have an added option on the "Change Image". There we can edit Poster and Background images, but no Logos. With this option added, we could choose from TMDB manually.

That's odd - try turning it off and on again - if I have a poster that's already scanned but uses an online ClearLogo, if I add a ClearLogo to the folder it just appears.

Did this test here, and it didn't work! Turned it off, scanned, then turned it on, scanned. Nothing.

Is it possible to implement the Logo selection inside Change Image on the next update?

    Dunno.

This is a folder scanned into HT with no ClearLogo:

    upload_2026-6-3_15-12-34.png

Which produces this, with an online logo:

    upload_2026-6-3_15-13-8.png

If I then add a ClearLogo:

    upload_2026-6-3_15-13-56.png

I get this. No need to rescan, no need to even close HT, only close and re-open the poster details page (I have automatic scanning on):

    upload_2026-6-3_15-15-35.png

Just noticed you don't have Automatically Updating Sources switched on - that's probably it.

    **EDIT**

Sorry, no - just checked and that makes no difference. It seems to query the folder each time the details page is opened, it's not part of the scrape process. If a local file exists, it uses that, if not, it uses the cache and if there is no cache it wanders off to fanart.tv to get it.

Hang on, that's a multi part movie - you need to name it the same as the filename of the first version

    Presumably: "Three Colors Blue.(0#4K)-clearlogo.png"

Just "Three Colors Blue-clearlogo.png" won't work because that's not the filename.

Local art is a PITA for multi-part movies.

That's not it yet, Mark! Already tried on single movies, apart from multi-part ones, and got the same result:

    Local Settings. Logo.png

The only difference in our folders is that you have a .nfo file created, as I mentioned before.

I tried it on a test library with no NFOs or local art that scraped with TMDB and it still worked...

It'll be something stupid and simple...

What can I do now? Clear image cache will erase all the work I've done manually so far.

Exporting NFOs and artwork will get you back to where you are now if it all goes Pete Tong. But I think it's simply a case of incorrect naming.

But I named exactly as it was on the pdf: "Never Talk To Stangers-clearlogo.png".

What other naming should I try? Just like the extras: "Never Talk To Stangers (0#clearlogo).png"?

    No, the protocol is:

    fileName-clearlogo.png

Yes, but the protocol gave me no result, as you saw it on the prints above. If you find another way, please let me know.

I only know the way that it works I'm afraid - as I say the only confusion arises with multi part movies, but as I say, again fileName-clearlogo.png works as long as it's the first logical file. For single movies it's simple: movieFileName.mkv = movieFileName-clearlogo.png.

This is a single movie and it didn't work:

    Local Settings. Logo.png

    Local Settings. Logo.jpg

The only difference: mine is in mp4, and yours is mkv.

    Your file name is incorrect.

"Never Talk to Strangers" is not the same as "Never talk to Strangers".
