I just got the z9x 8k, this is the first media player I've bought since an old Popcorn Hour. There's a lot of settings and it's a bit overwhelming.. This is my setup TV Sony A8H (XBR65A8H Receiver Denon AVR-X1600H Everything setup via HDMI Is there anything settings wise I should definitely change from the defaults for smoothest experience? There doesn't seem to be a standby mode on this, would it be fine to leave it on? Is there a way to eject a drive, I can't seem to find anything? Any other tips settings wise or whatever.. I'm pretty much clueless with a lot of this.

Highlight the one that you want to eject. Then, press the left key a second time and a menu will pop up with 2 options : Unmount and format. Select the first one. About the identification of the movies or the TV Show, use something like that to optimize the results of the scan : "name of the movie" (year if you want).mkv (copy/paste the names of the movies on TMDb) "name of the TV Show" (year).S01E01.mkv Don't use the name of the episodes in the naming of the files for the TV show. In HomeTheater 5, if you want to create custom categories on the welcome page of the app, put all the files that you want to appear in it in a main folder. Add the path to this specific folder in the sources used by HT5.0 and scan it. Any content added to this folder will now be scanned automatically by the Zidoo and added to this custom category. You can add this new category in the widgets displayed by default (all, TV Series, 4K...). I use it for animation for example but you can do it for whatever you want (concerts, documentaries, your own videos...)
