This is an English speaking forum. Whilst there are many nationalities and languages represented here, if everyone posted in their native language, the forum would quickly become unusable.
I think a sticky post at the main page of the forum would clarify this for members tempted to post in languages other than English. After reading this I did a quick search to find the forum rules, and whilst they probably exist somewhere they didn't come up using the search engine. As a SUPER Administrator possibly you could consider adding a sticky post as I have suggested to the forum rules so newbies can quickly reference them???
I think it's pretty obvious and to be fair, no-one reads forum rules. Ever. I certainly never have, I just use common sense as I'm sure most people do. And generally people don't willfully post in a language other than English (although there have been one or two notable exceptions in the past), it's usually a mistake because they have auto translate on and a quick polite message usually fixes it.
@Alan Rutlidge - you speak English judging from your nationality so what's your difficulty with what's been said? And I refer to your other post in the DMP-A6 sub-forum too
There is, and he has, no problem with anything. He just got "a little" upset, because you put words in his mouth he never said... like "tyou encourage the use of non-English languages" or "you don't discourage their use"... cannot remember, and TBH too lazy to scroll back up even a few posts... Let's close this up now. There might have been misunderstandings too among different poster / admins / super-admins... me too, for one, am not a native speaker, but in every forum I am in, the language is English (except in the Russian ones, but they understand English too, and are polite enough to reply to your thread in English). It happens somehow (as you say, due to auto-translate) and usually (as you also say) it gets fixed by a polite suggestion to do so. Cheers everybody... you just made my beer warm and now I have to put it back in the freezer for at least 15 minutes... ;-)
New question, new to posting and this forum. I have a DMP-A10 and was wondering if you can move or delete the app icons in the streaming section? I listen to Apple Music and have to scroll to select it each time I turn on unit. Would like to move it to first page. (No clear info in manual.) Belay that request. Found in the support section of Eversolo under adding services.
From what I read in the pages about the Apple Music in the Stream Section is you should not use it. If I understood, it fixes the resolution to 24/48 and you do not get the possibility of hearing the joy of 24/96 and 24/192. Use the Apple Music included in the machine. Go to cast, find the home button on the right, go to streaming, find the Apple Music under APP and download it. Then your work is just beginning. After you sign in, find the three dots in the upper right and go to settings and set up you app for lossless music then high res music to the full benefit of the service.
Hello to all DMP-A10 users. I don't know if this is the right place but I'll ask, I'll share my disappointment. It's a minor problem but after the last update, the Tidal apk has been significantly reduced. I mean, on the first page, on the main page, there are only sections: The Hits, New album and From our editors. There used to be a lot more suggestions aimed mainly at a given user, playlists, mixes, new releases, etc. Have you noticed this too and is there a way to fix it, e.g. forward it to the software department in eversolo? Best regards
