I just received a new DMP-A6. Plugged it in, flipped the power switch on the back and pressed the knob on the front. Nothing happens. I've tried multiple cords and multiple outlets. For the front knob - is there any tactile sensation or feedback when you press it, e.g. when you press the home button on the phone there is feedback. I ask because there is no feedback of any kind. Thanks for any help or suggestions, Jake
Maybe try to push the power cable to ensure it's all the way in. If power is connect thru, you should see the knob light up.
Thank you - this helps. I've made sure the power cable is seated, and then there are no lights on the units anywhere, including the knob.
Ok, then try check the fuse if somehow it's blow for some reason. The fuse is sit inside the ice plug. Otherwise, may have to contact your seller if they can help or send you a replacement?
Initially you need to switch on AND subsequently press the knob. The unit starts up in standby when switched on, so both actions needed. did you do that after checking the cable ? (the startup behaviour can be changed afterwards in the settings, by the way)
Yes, I did all that - thanks. I ordered a replacement and the replacement works as expected. The new unit has a tactile response when pressing the on button which the defective one did not. I believe the first unit was just bad.
