Apples to Oranges. Those are both the same type of media. Local media playback is NOT the same as streaming online. Totally different things and I would never use my streaming devices to play my local media. They were not made for it even if you can figure out ways to do it.

But good luck getting the devs to make whatever 3rd party apps you want to work on their propriety devices.

People here are acting like the LOCAL media playback on the zidoo is superb when it actually isn't - still many bugs in .95 that probably will never get adressed...

@cjur - Try not to use foul and abusive language, it only reflects badly on you.

@Markswift2003 Is it possible on these models to load the "music" player separate from the firmware - Would love the music player from the Z30 pro range (it seems to handle atmos files a lot better) - I dont think there would be firmware updates for this model - but if i could "upgrade? the music component. THanks!

While MP is simply an app and therefore can be loaded outside of a firmware update, the latest app on the AML boxes will not work with the Realtek boxes as it's a different platform.

They were never able to get MCH audio working right on the PRO series for some reason. Not sure if it was a hardware or SOC issue but it never worked. That is the only reason I bought the new 8K version.

Can anyone help me with movie matching?
out of 600 movies 594 movies are matched; where are the other 6 movies? Maybe they are wrongly matched or something? Is there any way to resolve this?
How to identify these 6 missing or unmatched movies from a collection of 600 movies?

If they are not in "Unmatched" they will be attached to other posters as alternative versions on the details screen - you can probably find which ones by the name of the movies that are missing.

It's really an impossible task to go through all the 600 movies detail screens to see that. Any other way to resolve?

Yes - as I said, you can probably figure it out from the names of the movies that are missing. Probably similar to another movie name.

You can also look at Source view, scroll down and see which movies have more than one version:

Might be also some DB/source glitch with files counting - happened to me many times before. Try to stop autoscrap over the source and start it manually again. It will go again via those missing files... and sometimes those counters gets recalculated correctly having 100% files matched since sometimes those missing files are just false positives due to wrong files' number counter.

    Er. Nope.

:) Nope to your nope. It helped me already approximately 6 times.

And I can easily reproduce it by coping many files at the same time into the local NTFS disk... while the autoscratch is active... And then sometimes the scratch just locks even with the wrong file counter of total movies at the drive. To unlock and correct both I always do as written above.

    "Similar to another movie name?"
I have over 600 movies in my HDD, and there might be some names that are partially similar.
I've been facing such an issue for a long time and many of the movies are missing from the H.T.

Now, since I have not kept the movies in a folder, this method won't work for me? Instead have kept all the .mkv files.

I can confirm that I do not have same movies in different formats or resolutions, so there should never be two movies matched with a single movie poster.

That's not the point. I'm talking about similarly named movies NOT identical movies.

That's the point. I have over 600 movies in .mkv format, out of which 6 or 7 movies are missing. Now the point is, "How to know which movie is not included in the poster wall?" Practically, I can't go through all the 600 movie details to know...that's the fix you mentioned.

I'm still hoping for a better solution. please!

Yes, I remember. In the past this method has helped me when I manually activated the search multiple times, but it is not helping this time.
