Yes, I am the latest version :)

Noted @Markswift2003 - thats a shame - I can live in hope - its a lot easier on family if they look exactly the same :)

You could set both boxes to boot into HT5 then both would look the same - there's no need for family members to be in the launcher.

Hello. Do I need to download both zipe files as it does not work with just the one.

Only one - The G version includes Google Play Store, the non-G version doesn't. Other than that the two are identical.

I must be doing something wrong as I popped the file on a drive and went to it via the update section and it could not find a file to open.

Good morning. I have a Z20 Pro. After updating from 1.52 to 1.95, I can no longer download subtitles through Zidoo. Is there anything I can do? I tried to revert to firmware 1.52, but I couldn't. Please help!
my language for subtitles is Portuguese (Brazil)

Ok. More than 1 year after the last firmware update for Z9X Pro, more than 4 months since the disaster with Home Theater expiration of the certificate to do movies matching in online DBs (to properly connect to relevant APIs).

Don't you think that Zidoo owe us something? At least the new firmware with the new and fixed HT embedded inside... And for the apologies they should give the latest Music Player and enable Tidal Connect at Z9X Pro.

So nobody will be forced to do the patchwork as @Bigdaveryley was forced to? What do you think @Markswift2003? Could you please push some buttons at Zidoo?

zidoo z9x has been great for me, great playback etc.
but i will never buy another piece of hardware from them. at these premium prices i would expect premium support. the music player SUCKS and the lack of support for integration with existing media servers / players like kodi, jellyfin etc is disappointing. anyways, i don't like to complain too much. the box works great for me but the apps suck and it seems they chose to freeze owners in time and only push software updates on new hardware business model which isn't for me.

Crazy that people would accept that a premium android media player can't do simple things any sub $100 device can do. These are all things that should just work and do not come at the expense of the excellent local playback. These devices are good at playimg dv, otherwise they are crippled garbage.

Again it is not a streaming device. It is a local media player which for the most part it does excellently. If you want to stream stuff, use an actual device geared towards that. If you had done any research you would have known this. I have never used ANY of my local media devices for streaming. Including multiple Zidoo, HiMedia, QDLinks, or Egreat over the years. It isn't what they are meant to do even if some people like to try and force them to.

I don't expect my car to be able to work in water like a boat even though they are both devices used for transport.

ridiculous. this is not car vs boats. this is a bmw not having an entertainment system because it's meant for driving. give me a break. i didnt buy it to stream youtube, but i would appreciate if the devs didn't break something that should work on its own - and god forbid contribute to making it work better.

nobody buys a 4k blu-ray player to play standard blu-rays or dvds, but why the hell wouldn't it??
    >uuhhhh muuhhh its a 4k player its not meant for that

We will have to agree to disagree. I don't get upset when I buy products and they don't do what they were not designed to do.
