Hi I installed this beat version on my Z9x Pro. I have an issue on audio offset option disappeared. On 1.75 version was present. For my use this option is very useful, sometimes I ahev some video that is not sincronized with the audio. And now I don't know what I do to sincro the audio again. Noone use this function?

Audio offset was removed from v1.0.83 onwards.

It was present on v1.0.75 but it didn't work.

I just bought the Z20 a few weeks ago, today I played the first eposode BD, during the playback of one 26 minute EP it bounced from play to menu 3 times, twice while playing & once during pause, too boot it did not return to menu after the EP was over.
I've played this series seamlessly on the X10, not a good start, Plexamp does not work on it like the X10 as well, why did I buy this again? Slightly faster, more RAM? Thats not going to cut it if the playback sucks, thats supposed to be Zidoos bread & butter.

Thanks but why was removed? this function was very useful.
There is also another bug n the setting of go ahead rapid with 15 second, 1 minutes,5 minutes etc etc.. the flag is not corresponding to the value described.

Don't know - As I say, the option used to be there, but it didn't actually work on the BPD models and when I reported that, it was removed rather than being fixed.

Of course, local trailers have many advantages. But the disadvantages of availability, storage and time consumption make it unattractive. If there were a tool that could be used to search trailer in the lang of choice, assign and add trailers to folders, many people might see this thing differently. The likes under my post alone should tell you that you are one of the few nerds who would currently invest this amount of time.
But you are not the majority. This is what needs to be understood! Steve Jobs was a king in this thing :D

The tool you are needed is Tiny Media Manager TMM. It works automatically. You choose the list of Movies and make one click and the trailers are downloaded.

Curious - does it name the trailer in a format that HT5 recognises, or do you have to manually change the name to tie the trailer to the movie?

Yes, it renames all the stuff, that is downloaded, trailer, cover, movie files, it is only one button "rename".

Ok thanks. Will take a look. Although, I only want to look at downloading trailers, as I've already scanned and matched my (pretty large) library.

I think you can use it that way. However trailer downloading is part of the pro version so you will have to buy a 1 year licence for 10 Euros.

Yeah, I did notice.....all things considered, think I'll stick with waiting 20 secs for the trailer to start.

Just curious does the Zidoo just play a random trailer each time ?

No sure of the logic algo, but seems to pull in the release trailer 1st (well, for me anyway).

Example - The Burbs (1989) - brings the release trailer, which in this case, is for the VHS release.

Switch the unit off, boot up and will play the same release trailer.

Ok so it plays a trailer from the movie that you are about to watch, why would you want to see a trailer for a movie you are about to watch ?

To each their own, but we (the wife and I) like to watch the trailers if we haven't seen the film to see if we are in the mood for that film, or another way to put it, they help us to choose a film.
