Merci.
I absolutely see your point certainly if you’re satisfied and content with v 1.5.60/65 , my DMP A8 , has been intermittently freezing up whether it’s functioning or just in standby while looking for different or other source material plus a few other problems, etc. this unit performed perfectly for two years until the above stated upgrade, Im most certainly happy that it worked out for you again these are just minor problems no real sonic issues but it shouldn’t be happening and only started happening afterwards, I believe an acquaintance of mine perhaps may be on something. It’s a bit of an unorthodox set up, but not really it works and it works well. Say Goodbye to updates as a matter of fact, I think his A8 sounds better now than it did before with the web or Internet, being active to it who knows, reminds me in a roundabout way of using a T8 along with the Z10 exactly just a bit of different equipment, but no real substantial differences from my past experiences IDK, but you have a great day
Here procedure followed by me THANKS TO MCBLUNA SITE: 1. Startup DMP and on version upgrade tip 7x the logo to activate DEVELOPER MODE 3. Disable Online Check and enable DEBUG versions 4. Prepare an USB (FAT32 formatted) with the ONLY FULL INSTALLER present at moment: https://music.eversolo.com/dmp/ota/DMP_A8/v1.3.30/DMP-A8_R_v1.3.30_202409292026_ota-package.zip ON THIS PAGE ALL THE NECESSARY VERSIONS: https://www.mcbluna.net/wp/eversolo...ew/eversolo-dmp-a8-firmware-download/#v1.3.30 DUE TO FOLLOWING SCHEMATICS: https://www.mcbluna.net/wp/wp-conte...-20260401124726.pdf#zoom=page-width&view=FitH is necessary to apply also following manual upgrades (sadly only differential): - DMP-A8_R_v1.3.30_to_v1.4.01_202501091218_diff-package.zip - DMP-A8_R_v1.4.01_to_v1.4.32_202504031405_diff-package.zip - DMP-A8_R_v1.4.32_to_v1.4.76_202505301455_diff-package.zip - DMP-A8_R_v1.4.76_to_v1.5.10_202508191831_diff-package.zip - DMP-A8_R_v1.5.10_to_v1.5.30_202510222106_diff-package.zip - DMP-A8_R_v1.5.30_to_v1.5.46_202512161456_diff-package.zip Magically my RAAT connection is back! @Eversolo if is possible, please provide a simpler mechanism to choose which bridge version to use (and external APK package would like to be a great option)
At my DMP-A8 the Firmware Version 1.5.75 works perfect with Roon.2.64 (1646)- RAAT SDK 1.47 and the DMP-A8 is also listed as Roon Ready. I am actually listening with it. My Roon Server is an Intel NUC 12 with ROCK
It really works fine without dropouts and smooth, crystal clear sound. So i guess the issues coming from probably another problem? Did you update your Roon Server and Software to latest version? Also give it a try to restart your Roon Server / Nucleus / NUC
