I've never managed to get the lyrics to work I'm afraid. CD rotation setting is in Settings/Display/Home Now Playing Album Cover
You have to download the lyrics yourself using a program like LrcGet which downloads the lrc files next to the audio files and then the lyrics will display. For some reason they did not keep the lyrics searching function that was in MP7 on the older boxes.
I would prefer to have the lyrics search option as for my usage it found a lot. Then you could still handle them offline and use those if it didn't find them to be up to par. I totally agree on the font though. Way too big and looks bad in comparison to how it looks on MP7.
Sorry if my post was confusing. I didn't mean you could edit the ones downloaded by the Zidoo. I meant if the ones MP7 found using their online search were not good, you could use other methods to get the lrc files the way you want them on your PC then just put those in the same folder as the music files. MP7 uses the existing lrc file and won't download again so you can use the lrc ones in the folder. I just confirmed on my Z2000 Pro with MP7. Disconnected the internet and played multiple songs with my preexisting LRC files and it worked perfectly. Looks so much better visually than the same tracks and lyrics do on MP8. Everything else about Mp8 is superior though IMO.
HANK YOU FOR YOUR RESPONSES I MANAGED TO SWITCH BETWEEN TWO COVERS (cover and CD) DURING PLAYBACK, but it doesn't always work for the front and cover. I tried with IDtag but without any conclusive résulta. Any ideas?
Hello, I can't believe Zidoo abandon auto search for lyrics ! I may have had to go through the posted list to find the right language, but it was still easier than searching, editing and inserting the lyrics for each track. Furthermore, I have about 200,000 tracks that I would like to get lyrics for; I would die from old age before I learned how and got them all done. Is there any way to autoload the lyrics into a Z30 Pro Music Player 8.0 ? Can I install Music Player 7.0 on the Z30, I would rather have the lyrics than 8's features ? Desperate

Hello, I have quite a music collection on a media server and enjoyed listening and reading the lyrics in the same time. After struggling a bit, i managed to make it work on version 8. See this LrcGet from here https://github.com/tranxuanthang/lrcget?tab=readme-ov-file I've installed it, gave the directory and this amazing tool will fetch the lyrics and create the lrc files for you. I have a directory structure as musician > album > tracks I didn't yet find a way to do this per musician, I have to download it per album. For me it works, so make it work. Enjoy!
