I've having trouble streaming 4 channel PCM files to my Integra AVR..The source file is 192khz 24 bit 4 channel Using the Audio Only port set to RAW output, this is how the Integra reports what it sees Having trouble posting screenshot, but Integra reports file as 48khz 2 channel Streaming from Oppo results in correct sample rate and channel count. Any thoughts? thanks
I don't have the Z3000 so can't really help sorry but I've noticed behaviour such as this on other machines with other software. For example, I have a Ugoos AM6B+ and from memory, Foobar2000 on it spits out quad 24-bit/192KHz FLACs as some weird 2 channel hybrid but will play quad 24-bit/96KHz FLACs correctly. However, CoreELEC on the same machine will play quad 24-bit/192KHz FLACs correctly, so it's not a hardware restriction. Have you tried quad 24-bit/96KHz FLACs on the Z3000? If they work, I'm not sure if there's a workaround other than resampling your 192KHz files to 96KHz which would be a pain. The Z9X plays quad 24-bit/192KHz FLACs correctly for what it's worth. Hope you find a solution. With just a (relative) handful of audio file combinations, why every machine from all manufacturers can't play them all correctly (and gaplessly!) mystifies me.
