Hello, I have just downloaded BBC player via the Downloader app on my Z3000 PRO (I am based in the UK) but the only way I can open it is going through SETTINGS>OTHER>ABOUT>ADVANCED SETTINGS>APPS. It seems quite long winded.

When I open the Apps shortcut on the main Home Screen it doesn't show?

Am I missing something? Usually they just appear there too when I have downloaded, although it has been quite a while since I have performed this action so wondering if I missed something obvious.

    Thanks in advance.

  2. Apologies that this doesn't address your question, and may be unwanted or already known information, but Zidoos aren't geared towards streaming across the internet. Yes, you may be able to, but it won't likely be the best experience. Zidoos are more for playing local media (either directly connected or across your home network).

It is odd about the app not showing up, and if I were doing the same thing, I'd wonder what's going on as well. I haven't sideloaded any apps on my Zidoo, however, so I can't say if I would've had the same experience. Have you installed any other apps and have they appeared in the Apps area without diving into the Settings?

Thanks for the reply, yes you are probably right about the streaming capabilities I just like the thought of the box covering all my needs, I haven’t tried it yet.
Good idea about seeing if it does the same with a different app, I shall try it out when I have an opportunity.
