    Hiya all

Home Theatre 5.0 is now failing to launch on startup, even though it is enabled. I am unsure on what other information to provide in order to assist troubleshooting. Other than its enabled already and has been working up to a few days ago with no changes on my end.

    Model: Z9X

    Hopefully someone can help.

    Cheers.

Not a clue! I've certainly never seen this before.

I'd set another app to autostart, confirm that works, then go back to set HT to autostart again.

Many thanks Mark. Your suggestion worked!!

Changed the Launch on Startup app to "Update" app - rebooted - Success
Changed it back to "Home Theatre 5.0" app - rebooted - Success.

    LOL.

Looks like I had a database corruption. I'll explain.

Last night, I turned on the Z9X and the Home Theatre app failed to launch on startup (yet again). And then watching a few TV show episodes, it failed to play and then crash the box. A simple reboot failed to fix the issue. Only a hard restart (switching the switch off and on again) would enable the TV episode to play. Once finished and moving onto the next episode, it would happen all over again, resulting in another hard power off/on.

I wrote all my settings down today and did a complete factory reset. Once up and running, I reloaded the database that I backed up a week ago, and instantly started getting the same errors. Another factory reset later, and a full and complete rescan of all the video files and Im back up and running again.

Touch wood. No issues thus far.

Just thought Id update this, if anyone else has this issue.
