fileflows seems intimidating when first loaded, but once you get your head around how it works, its a super tool for everything file related.

It sounds like you should use some automated subtitle downloader, and then use fileflows to move those downloaded subs into mkv, then all subtitles are downloaded and no need to fiddle through whatever player (phone or zidoo)

the world is never perfect adapt your needs to it

 

Wouldn’t this give you hundreds of subtitles that you don’t need?

 

Not really, configured correctly said program should only dl subs relevant to you ..

My use case personally is english subs for better understanding dialog, and danish for my parents.

and most files (both personal rips and the odd dl hehe) come with embedded english subs so in my case, subtitle program is mainly looking for danish subs
