Absolutely idea at all - if someone asked could this happen rather than actually reporting it happening, I'd say it's not possible because they both call the same player.

So what's different about the episodes that play and the ones that don't?

 

Hi, I had a similar issue to yours.
The cause was an incompatibility between the H265 10-bit video format and the .srt subtitle format.
I converted the subtitle from .srt to .ass format.
Issue resolved.

 

Whenever you have a problem with a particular file it’s a useful idea to post a full MediaInfo file report with your post.

 

I will see if I still have the files that caused the issue and get media info for them

 

I have an issue that has happened in the previous version .58 I think and the newest version. Whenever an animated background or trailer play, the size changes and the top and bottom of the screen get cut off. If you load a movie without an animated background it fixes itself so all info is again visible.

 

I think a screen grab would be worth a 1000 words...
