How to sync two Zidoos? Continue watching?

Hi!

I have two Zidoo players and I’d like to sync them — mainly the “continue watching” / resume playback feature.

Is Trakt the only way to sync watched status?
Or is there a better way to sync resume position and metadata between both devices?



Would love to hear what works best in 2025. Thanks!

 

If you have the newer 8k boxes the Plex and Jellyfin apps would be able to accomplish the same. That would require the extra steps of setting up the backend/server for them though.

 

Thanks. But i like posterwall alot. So this would not be a good option.

 

HT is standalone and not a client/server model so the only way to do it through HT is with Trakt.
