How to correct inaccurate resolution

I updated my rips of the four seasons of the Farscape TV series from 720p to 1080p and re-imported them into my Zidoo Z9X 8K. It is reporting that several episodes in seasons 1 and 2 are in 720p and all of the episodes in season 3 are in 720p when, in fact, they are ALL in 1080p (at least, when I play them with VLC Media Player on my Windows PC, they correctly identify as having 1080 or 1072 vertical lines of resolution with horizontal resolution around 1400 being that the shows have 4:3 aspect ratios). I have tried updating the Media Info on those episodes to no avail. Any ideas?

 

I had the same problem myself a few months ago. When I played each episode for a few seconds, it showed the correct resolution.

 

I can't remember the full logic, but obviously 1400x1072 is not 1080p - so while, for example, 1920x800 may be seen as FHD and therefore represented by 1080p, 1400x1072 may be seen as HD therefore represented as 720p.
