How to adjust each sub individually? (Or Speakers for that matter)

I`m wondering if there`s a way to adjust each sub individually, that I haven't figured out.

The DMP-A10 supports dual subs, yet in settings, There seems to be a Singular Level and Delay adjustment.
We need to be able to properly adjust each sub individually, especially if we hope to get rid of nulls, by offsetting them to do so (With the help of REW)

Is this possible, or is this perhaps a planed feature?

Ideally, the same should exist for the speakers, as currently both speakers show as 1 value to offset. It would much better to have individual controls per speaker. Something the room calibration software could easily detect.

If they are (I am not familiar with the A10 sub-outputs) responding to the L/R channels, then single channel FIR / IIR with REW should let you achieve the result.

Of course, this requires the A10 to allow loading FIR / IIR on a per-channel basis; and again, here I don't have much information in regard.

My issue is mostly with being able to set the distances.
For example, REW can tell me that I need to offset Sub 1 by 5ms, to fill in a Null, or speaker R by 3ms...

But for that to work, I need to be able to input the values..
Every Receiver I've had with audio calibration, had this, as it's pretty much a must for proper calibration.

I think you can load the filters produced by REW directly... thing is... will it be possible separately, L vs R?

Filters are unrelated to Delay adjustment..

If there was a wish list section, this would be my top one right now.. (Well, that and a Standby mode, that doesn't turn off the unit) ;)

Hi , I can absolutely validate your point on specific audio devices, however, shutting a unit completely down such as a device as this, I believe what I’m trying to ask, you is what your big concern of having the ability for the unit to completely shut down, If that’s your wish, why not just hook up the EVERSOLO to an active receptacle that retains a separate on and off switch, I believe I did read somewhere on this forum. There is a member that had stated his unit is hooked up in lieu of this it is on a switched outlet and completely turns the unit on or off, then I think it would be safe to say it would put the unit in standby above from a technical aspect. You would still have to manually activate the unit or use remote control from my somewhat past experience. I don’t believe this will make the unit last any longer as a matter of fact, it may shorten the life of the unit from hard starting as such I had stated on this form once before I have an older cheap flatscreen 80 inch it’s been continuously on for the last 11 years , seriously so , other than normal power failures this sound silly I leave it on for the dogs and a bit of security purposes at night however, this is easy enough accomplished. Or just leave the unit off, but I certainly would turn the screen display setting to off. I believe the minimum is 5 minutes. In all actuality, it wouldn’t hurt anything. 11 years is quite a long time for a cheap LED device to be left continuously on, I must say whoever assembled that set did an excellent job :) Best of luck with that have a good day,

    Have a good week :)

The issue with the current Standby, is that it disables all the Connects options.
It becomes invisible to Roon, Tidal, Qobuz and more..

At true Standby would be like a Phone or Tablet, where it turns off the screen and enters a save energy state, but is still active.
Strangely, as this is Android base, this should be built in. So I'm surprised that they actively suppressed the feature.

I simply leave the unit on, turning off the screen with the remote.
Another simple option would be to give us a setting where pressing off on the remote stops playback and turns off the screen, faking a standby mode. (Similar to pressing off on the unit and choosing turn off screen)

Although I use my A8 in an extremely simplistic manner More as a hub or as a standalone unit that other devices, transports,Dacs, p/c”s, various hard drives, etc., however, I believe I do see your point, Although not very favorable, it seemed you do have a work around I would believe I would just leave the unit on an active and simply turn the screen off, it absolutely will not harm anything in the long run would probably be beneficial most likely to the overall life expectancy of the unit
Or at least until something more favorable comes around naturally that you are able to work with but good luck with that,

Please have a great week enjoy :)
