I had the A6 when it first came out and was able to access my music on my pc over the network. I went away from the A6 for about a year but using again and the app has changed and now i can't figure out how to access the pc. Can anyone give me some guidance? Thank you!
Samba == SMB ETA: If you are on Win11 and installed (probably you have...) an update that sounds like 24H2 or something... there is no way to acces the share on your laptop as "guest" and no password; now it has been made mandatory to use username AND password. HTH
sorry guys I'm not so good with all of this where do you turn smb on? Looking in settings I don't see anything network related. The only place I see smb is under files when i click on that i get rescan scan. Just got a new pc with windows 11 so looking for the update Nutul mentioned.
It’s under settings: On a PC, you open a folder and type the IP address or the samba server name like: \\192.168.x.x or \\DMP_SAMBA (You might have to use username and password too ‘root’ and ‘123’.
