Home Theatre 5 Update / TMDB Fix v4.3.55 (Realtek 1295 models)

Many apologies for the delay - this SOC proved a bit tricky!!

This file will update Home Theatre to HT5 and fixes the TMDB scraping issues we've been having recently.

This file is for Realtek 1295 models only:

X8/X9S/X10

Please note that once installed, the icon on the home screen will still say HT4 - if you long press or press <menu> and reselect Home Theatre from the list of apps it will apply the HT5 icon.

 

Is there a changelog?

 

@Markswift2003 Thanks for the update. Is it compatible with the 2.1.28 firmware version of my X9S ?
Do I need to uninstall the old version of McBluna's HT4 first (v4.1.86) ?

 

It should be compatible - that's all I can say - it should be fine

I tested it on v2.1.45 and I'd recommend anyone to update to that version of firmware.

No need to uninstall older versions.

 

I omitted the changelog on purpose because it doesn't really make sense as it mostly refers to updating HT5 to HT5 and with the 1295 boxes we're updating HT4 to HT5.

So the answer is yes, but not really

 

Everything went well for me, even the trailers are working again ! (firmware 2.1.28)

I'm running this version and it's not working.
Edit: I got it to work for some reason it was set to the TVmaze database, I changed back to TMDB and it worked It was not set the TVmaze prior to the update.

 

Thansk for the update,I installed this new version but it still cannot download subtitle through HT, there's always this message : Become opensubtitles.orf VIP member to get subtitles -> osdb.lin/vip.

Is there a solution to it?
