I believe I took the high road. I believe he was rude and disrespectful for a Active Member. He should man up and apologize, I would if I was wrong.
I'm just trying to get help as a New Member.

own a zidoo 9x pro , just updated the home theatre 5.0 to .. .52 and still can't find any posters when trying to fix posters - only have the old posters on my old movies .
any idea what can it be please ?

 

Since then I got stutters with DV files on my Panasonic TV.
I hope this new patch will be fixed soon.

 

I recently updated my original Zidoo Z9X (Realtek 1619DR) from v6.4.42 to v6.4.68 and applied the TMDB Fix v4.3.52. It works a treat!!.

As a slow adopter of v6.4.68 this may be an old question but here goes.

During playback of an MKV, in the top right in the black bar it periodically flashes up with a number, such as "19.59". It happens a few times throughout the movie. I don't know if this is an embedded chapter notification or what, but it is quite distracting. Is there a new setting since the 2022 release that I can turn off to prevent it displaying?

Check Settings/Other/Show Hourly Time

I think there's a setting for that. It has indeed been around for awhile, and I remember disabling it. I don't currently remember where the setting is, but it is in there.

Hi all, I have just installed this but when I launch it just loops tries to launch again and then just drops back to the main gui page? Any help on this is appreciated

 

You're on one of these models?

If so, which one? If not, there is probably a patched version for your model in the correct section.

 

I am using the z10 pro.
Software version is latest v6.3.40

 

In that case, you want the latest firmware for the Z10 Pro - in the sticky thread second from the top in this section:

Then after you've updated the firmware, then install the latest APK.

You're welcome. I've done firmware updates both that way, via USB, and I've also done them by having the new firmware in a root folder that I have my Zidoo access via SMB. Overall, IMHO, it's easier via SMB, but USB will work, too.

Poster scraping from TMDB has stopped working again. TVDB & TVMAZE are working just fine. Any clue guys?

 

Which model do you have?
Have you updated the HT apk file ?

 

@Netmask It's Z9x and updated to v4.3.52. The poster scraping has become an intermittent problem for me but quite frequent in the past couple of weeks. TMDB most of the time displays blank thumbnails, can't figure out the anomaly as all my settings too are correct

 

In case it's useful, what firmware version are you on? Are you on the latest Beta firmware, 6.4.68?

 

Very strange
On my zidoo Z 1000pro the movie Fountain of Youth has only one audio and two subs and more cannot be selected. From the More button 19 audio tracks and 33 subs are visible as available.
Wait - this is just the beginning of the mystery!
On the same MKV file of the movie Fountain of Youth on my Zidoo Z 3000pro, all audio and subs variants are now correctly read and can be selected.
