Home Theatre 5 Update / TMDB Fix v4.3.52 (Realtek 1619DR models)

Presumably the Zidoo has scraped the file before the NFO was put there - I exclusively use NFOs and have for a long time, and HT always shows the source is from the NFO unless I copy a movie to the source and the Zidoo is switched on and I haven't created the NFO yet...

 

I did also a rescan and still have that issue.
I only noticed that behaviour since this TMDB Fix v4.3.52.

 

Possibly issues with the NFOs in the offending movies? If the NFO doesn't make sense to HT it'll fail over to TMDB.

 

I have Z9X with v6.4.68_G firmware.

This fix removes any custom categories if you have them on category 2 row. Also, there is still no "remove from current category" option if you want to remove something from a custom category in category 2 row.

I have recreated the NFO file with TMM and still have the same problems.
Can someone test the attached file and maybe confirm if it causes problems for him too?

This worked perfectly. But... I put some new files on my disc yesterday. They not add, on poster wall. They are not in unmatched either, with latest firmware.

 

@Markswift2003 After updating to v4.3.52 the poster scraping from TMDB has started to act once again. It worked fine for a while. Only blank thumbnails are being displayed now. Even the ones successfully scraped earlier have gone blank too. Do we need another update or is it something TMDB is going to keep behaving like this in the future too?

 

Working here so not sure what's wrong.

 

Do you keep your poster art on custom folder in a drive? Similar thing happened to me 2 years earlier and the culprit was a faulty external drive which I keep all my poster art and backdrops.

 

Is this related to my NFO file?

 

@Markswift2003 Thanks for the early reply but I wonder what went wrong suddenly, beats me too, as everything was working just fine until yesterday? @SolomonKane I've been using External HDD and poster art folders automatically created by the HT 5.0 on the same HDD since long (HDD is working just fine for everything else), never had any issues with the poster scraping until recently, since specific updates were posted for HT 5.0 up till v4.3.52. Even the tiny media manger fails to scrape posters from TMDB. Moreover, I reckon poster scraping is an online function and not the vice versa.

 

In the past, over many firmware versions, I've occasionally had to rename a file, or even just make a duplicate of the file with a different name, to get it to show up. It happens rarely for me, though. Maybe once or twice per year.

 

They usually recognised as movie you already have , so you won't see it in HT. Go to sources, to that file and you'll see how it is added. Press menu and update it manually.

 

I spotted a little inconsistency

I have all 8 Harry potters in 4K in mkv
I have the last 2 in 3D.iso as well

The thumbnails in the collection are inconsistent. The first 6 are "4K" the last 2 are "UHD"

If I go into those last 2, the "versions" are labelled "Blu-ray" and "HDR". In other places 3D are labelled "3D"

I have A Bugs Life in BR, DVD and 4K all as ISO. They display as A, B, C

When I look at Blu-ray or 4K the details 1080p, etc are fine
The DVD shows "Blu-ray disk, iso" which is wrong

It all seems a bit inconsistent. Does it bit generate those labels from the "more" information? I don't add details to my file names

 

I added the movie version in the file name. E.g. movie-name.(1#Blu-ray).iso, movie-name.(2#DVD).iso... Nevertheless, the format was displayed incorrectly. When I started the films or displayed the poster via media centre, everything was displayed correctly. It seems to be a bug. Only happened with one film. Maybe this helps in your case also.

 

I guess the last update might have changes something. I'm having problems again with TMDB posters and tried to reinstall the fix with the apk recommended fix V4.52, that did not work. So I made another mistake thinking resetting to factory could help, that did not work. This is the second time this has happened.

Any solution out there !!!!!!!!!!!!

Please stop cross posting your issue.... Post your question in your proper device forum only... not to mention, you whining that you are having "problems" tells us nothing.

Problem: The movie poster are not updating using the TMDB!!! There are no connective issue in the current setup and installed APK V452 .

I paid for this item just like you did and have the right to voice my opinion! ( This could have been said very differently especially when you deserve it) Give a solution instead of your useless comments.
