What do you mean by a full HT reset?

HT/Settings/Library/Cleat Data > Clear

Basically resets HT completely, but because I know the settings I use inside out and use local NFOs and artwork I can reset and restore in less than 5 minutes.

I have a lot of practice

 

I did figure out my issue after doing some further digging. I had my poster preference set as local instead of cache. I didn’t know I had it set like that, but after I switched it, it was like I had a completely different machine.

Maybe I selected that option because as a backup I also export all the NFO data in case I have to do a full reset and need to rebuild the library. I must of thought pulling the posters locally was faster, but I was dead wrong!

I have purchased Z9x 8K model and i am unable get HT working even once till now. All movies are put in unmatched folder. I have updated to latest 4.3.52 . Any help will be apreciated , Thanks

 

can you make a screenshot of these settings in the menu. I'm confused)

Is this here? Never touched anything here. How should I set it up correctly so that posters load faster?

It seems to me that I transferred the saved settings from the UDH5000 and did not change anything else)))

 

Just for your information, Zidoo has a screenshot function. Insert a color button for this function via the corresponding app. You will then find the screenshots in the Pictures folder on the Zidoo.

So that you don't have to post blurry pictures taken with your phone.

 

i.e. I need to assign a button to a screenshot, save the screenshot to the Pictures folder on Zidoo, then connect a flash drive to the player, write a screenshot to it, turn on the laptop, copy the screenshot to it, connect the phone, copy the photo to the phone's memory and then attach it to a message on the forum? I don't need this. If you don't like my blurry photos, you don't have to look at them. Sorry for making you look at this.

or if I take a screenshot and take a photo of it on my phone from the screenshots folder, will something change?) I don't have network connections for the player, I use it exclusively to simply watch movies from external drives connected via USB

Because of the way mediaInfo data has been squirted all over the place in the last two releases, doing a full rescrape resets and puts all the metadata into the right place on scraping rather than it having to be gathered at runtime because of the moving about.

Once the devs figure out where it's eventually going to live, it should all settle down.

You wanted a reason for taking screenshots, I gave you one. No reason to fly off the handle!

 

That was friendly advice, whether you follow it or not is up to you. Most people here have the player on the network and can easily access the internal storage from PC/laptop/Smartphone, open screenshots and insert clean images in comments.

 

Hi all
Since the installation of the HT5 update, I have on each film one or 2 black screen, I must wait a while during the HDMI reconnection.
I'm sure it's not the file.
Anybody has the same problem ?

I have to say, that since the use of my UHD8000 this kind of black screen (interruption of a film) appeared but not so frequently.

Jeez! I can see that you have the UI language set to Russian, but the mix of English and Azbuka would drive me mad! If I was in your position, I'd probably switch it to English so that everything is at least consistent. Are the translations something that gets updated over time and improves with firmware updates? Is there a way for users to install translation packs to fix problems like this? (I wouldn't know, here in Australia we begrudgingly tolerate US spelling and the differences are minor enough that for most things there are no Australian English translations. When it gets really annoying we can always use proper Queen's [now King's] English.)
