Yes, that's right but I noticed that Zidoo needs 4-8" to retrieve the media info the first time it loads, specially from a NAS. Then next time it pop-up immediately.

Didn't trip my Windows Defender - although as I say, I was trying to reflash an old X9S from a 2022 file and Windows had a fit about that one - it had never complained about that file before.

It makes just as little sense as installing this version, which is useless. I haven't noticed any disadvantages, but I haven't noticed any advantages either.

No, actually not. I had 3 problems, online trailer, TMDB and background, all were fixed with previous version. But I still have stuttering...

No, absolutely not difficult if a media player does what it is supposed to do. Then nobody will write anything here.

v4.3.52 fixes 6 out of 10 issues I and others found in the previous version.

Stuttering is the player, not HT.

    Same here.

I know that, but I think if more developers would work on the stuttering problem, the faster it would be fixed.

As far as I've been told, they still haven't replicated it.

@Markswift2003 these updates are very much appreciated. I do have a question though. Each time the we install a Home Theater app update, the poster walls have to go through full reloads? Thank you

    Not sure what you mean?

@Markswift2003 I just updated to the latest version of HT5 and when going to the poster wall it takes quite some time for all the posters to fully load. I couldn’t remember if that is normal behavior for each time you power the unit on from off or it is because I just updated to the latest version of the ht app.

I normally power the unit fully off when not in use and I do have a lot of files.

I understand now - I'm not sure if my poster images needed refreshing or not after updating to be honest - I've reset HT so many times on so many boxes in the last few days I can't remember!

But assuming they do, you only have to do this once - after all the posters have been populated once, they remain cached and certainly don't need refreshing after a power cycle.

    Fair enough
But what about gapless playback of multichannel music files. FLAC, M4A.
There is still a ±2 seccond handshake like pause between songs.

No idea sorry - I don't tend to get involved with the music player.

You don’t have to populate the posters once again after the update.

Yep - I just found that out after updating my UHD8000.

However, since the mediaInfo table entries have changed back to where they were in the database, I did a full reset of HT anyway...
