This is an update to the recently released patch to HT5 for the TMDB scraping issues we've been having.

Changelog:
1. Optimized poster wall matching accuracy
2 Optimized trailer retrieval for poster wall
3. Added dynamic background feature to poster wall
4. Fixed the occasional crash issue

And what is new about this? Set it to on and you get background poster that is black at left and bottom. With it set to off you get old style full screen background. However it's been like that for awhile.

 

Could not be downloaded - virus detected.

Windows Defender detects a Trojan in this file. Is that why the LAN LED flashes continuously day and night?

 

The apk file damaged and cant be downloaded, kindly reupload the apk.

In addition kindly clarify regarding (Added dynamic background feature to poster wall).

 

Strange, I downloaded and installed it without issue.

 

I have also downloaded, but I would have to unblock the APK file in Defender. I have the latest version of Windows 11 Pro. Real-time scan is active.
Virustotal does not find in this file.

 

The same for me.
Instead of working on important things like stuttering, they bring an update that nobody needs. The last update for HT5 was good, but now please go back to problems that affect basic functions.

Yep, Windows 11 blocked the download, says it contans a virus - false positive maybe, but still....

 

It depends on each system security, actually I could download/install it flawlessly. My Kaspersky didn’t detect the false positive.

 

Anyway you can delete it and get back to the previous version.

 

You can find a workaround for installation. For example, download using the mediabox browser

 

False positive - Windoze can be a bloody nuisance - Win11 Defender even finds fault on old X9S firmware from 2022.

 

Yeah, had to add a file type exclusion in Win Defender. Quick test, but online trailers seems to be loading in well under 3 secs here.

Touché. There are no more words for such incompetence. They waste time on secondary things. Okay, these updates for HT5 make the experience more enjoyable. But they forget that there are serious pending problems, which do affect the use of the box, they are not aesthetic bugs.
