Depending on the price-tag, most of them will probably be..

    P.S.
Chord is presenting their new "M scaler" (whatever the reason be for it to be needed for modern, upscaling DACs is a mystery to me...) at the reasonable price of 25K... some of the hard-core, hard-socket audiophiles here might be interested... for example who wishes to use their Eversolo connected to an external Chord D.A.V.E. DAC... who knows. Just sharing this info as I read it from ASR.

I’ve swapped my Chord Dave and Mscaler for an Eversolo DMP-A8 and I’m really pleased with it.

Why be disappointed by a device with similar performance? Personally, the size of the T8 suits me; I don't own a Z10.

Hello Paul , without doubt you certainly recovered a most incredible amount of outlay within this this higher end audio endeavor with extremely serious investment somewhat an absolute understatement in particular considering at present. Unfortunately you can’t put a price or value on Peace of mind to a sustainable and effective degree, At a Demo in view of various Chord units and devices, that had went beyond looking pretty to turn complex numbers into a clear representation within a simple scannable outcome Within today’s current Digital domain , but I confess I had left out not overly impressed in absolute honesty, most Beautiful and extremely interesting devices Indeed . However the challenge is finding the balance comfortably stagnant versus risking chaos in order to achieve something truly remarkable in imperative trade off s in combination. The DMP A8 is a Good unit perhaps worth sacrificing and Considering , but may require a bit of a hustle. I personally have been in constant use of one for approximately 2.5 years.in decision, Very best of luck to you enjoy, ;-)

Please have a great Day, :)……

What a remarkably prosaic text — precisely the kind of riveting material one entrusts to an AI for summarisation.

Hello.Snake oil, your Forum name certainly explains and embraces your character , They say light travels faster than sound that’s why people like yourself may appear Bright Until you hear them speak. , being honest may not get you a lot of friends, but it’ll always get you the right ones , sometimes you just have to sit back and watch the monkeys throw S—t at each other, and that’s NO AI. anyway you try and have a great day I blocked you once but past intuition and experience told me you would still be sneaking around like your name so implies. quit thinking your that you ain’t even all their , being insulted or concerned at one of your ridiculous comments or statements is like intentionally stepping in dog S—T and not walking around it , put that on AI for summarization by the way that’s the correct spelling hear in the United States, you may want to look into AI yourself your definitely in the correct part of town , but absolutely at the wrong address .are you certain you would like to proceed. However it’s all good considering the source, how that for prosaic text in lacking in real imagination for you ? Please have a wonderful day or whatever you do to amuse yourself, :)…idk seriously strange people, please block me absolutely no need to reply. Hey, you even have my permission. It’s all good.

He's a good guy. Only... seems he has some speech-to-text that prints whatever he is mumbling while replying vocally to your message...
But then again, he's indeed a good guy.

The information here looks promising, and the device itself looks very nice. I’ll be keeping the T8.

The DMP-A8 Master Edition Gen 2 is an interesting product. With a top-loading CD player and the Z10/T8 design, it appears to be a very attractive package. The DAC-R8, featuring an R2R DAC, is also expected to arrive. However, I think those who genuinely prefer R2R over delta-sigma designs may be better off waiting for the R10.

I’m not entirely sure what the purpose of the C10 is. It seems to introduce additional distance between the DAC and the clock generator in an environment that doesn’t really require the level of synchronisation typically needed in music production.

Smaller amplifiers are also on the way, namely the AMP-F8 and AMP-F6. Overall, it’s a very appealing product line-up. A separate CD/SACD player is missing in the line-up.

I’ve added labels to the devices.

Personally, I’m most interested in the specifications of the AMP-F8 and AMP-F6, as I’m looking for a suitable partner for the DMP-A8/Canton Vento combo in the kitchen.

I just found this photo. It clearly shows why this is an R8 rather than an R10. Without making any judgement on the engineers’ efforts or the sound quality, the PSU section is scaled back compared with that of the Z10.

The line-up is very interesting indeed. A dedicated CD player offering Eversolo’s well-known engineering and build quality, together with SACD playback over USB/I²S, would be an instant purchase for me.

A general question: what advantages does the C10 master clock provide when the connected devices already feature high-quality local clocks? As far as I understand, full clock synchronisation is typically only required in recording or music production environments. In a home hi-fi setup, where each device already has its own low-phase-noise clock, what is the technical benefit of distributing a common external reference?

It looks like the R8 is using OPA1612 Op-Amps insead of discrete pre-amplification in the analogue stage.

I’m keeping my T8 too, but still want a T10. I have 4 Eversolo streamers already so don’t really need another one. I put my DMP A8 up for sale. If I can sell it, I’ll order the T10. I already have an amp and preamp I’m trying to sell and have had no responses. Guess the economy in US has gotten really bad!

Hi , you are certainly correct, I believe the worst is yet to come unfortunately, the writing is on the wall , in viewing various Audio sales sites and equipment marts, I can absolutely see a huge difference , with asking prices being lowered in every area of equipment numerous times, I do not believe this equipment is not desirable the extra disposable income is rapidly not available as it once was not difficult to foresee in personal opinion I certainly understand no matter how deep the economy may decline their will always remain a buyer and seller out their throughout regardless but yes you are quite correct. everything High End Audio related has been rapidly decreasing here in retail or private sales Not just here in the United States I believe The economy in general has been negativity affected in every area throughout The world as in generalization. That disposable income Is becoming somewhat nonexistent with numerous different hobbies ect . not only Audio I do consider myself quite lucky as most of what I have now acquired are keepers . I don’t believe it possible at present to obtain some higher end audio devices as of today along with many others in opinion only as also yourself, extremely uncertain and unpredictable Financial future at present, very best of luck with your set up,

    have a good day :)

I wouldn’t be able to afford anything at today’s pricing either! I got 50% off a Mark Levinson No 534 amp and 63% off a Mark Levinson No 523 preamp. I’ve never gotten such good deals in the past. I’m fortunate that I was able to pay cash for it but now sitting on an amp and preamp that I’d like to sell. I had my Moon 860A V2 listed on Audiogon for less than any other one for sale and got no responses. I have a Audioquest AES/EBU cable that I have been unable to sell.

At this point, I’m considering buying another set of towers and setting up the equipment that I can’t sell in my home office! The issue is, I have no room.

My employer is trying to cut operating expenses and put 80% of the IT staff on permanent work from home. I fall into that category so I’m sitting at home working with barely any work to do. I surf the Internet for most of the day. I have my Eversolo DMP-A6 Gen 2 set up with my powered speakers and keep the music running just to stay awake! I’m thankful I don’t have to drive 40 miles a day, 3 days a week at the current price for premium gasoline.

My plan is to retire at the end of this year on 12-31. I pray for being cut since I’m eligible for 40 weeks of severance. I’ve survived 6 cuts already so I’ll just plan on 12-31 retirement. If I get cut, I’ll be VERY happy!

Have a good day, and happy listening.

Yes macnet, I believe both of us extremely fortunate at this present time.their will always be some type of audio device that you desire naturally.I currently have acquired just about everything that I have desired or needed, wanted etc.. so I am quite content overall generally speaking, I believe I would be safe and stating endgame. so I am quite lucky and very satisfied within that respect. naturally there will always be expenditures and certain funds needed within general, upkeep, and maintenance, as I’m and AUDIO hobbies that does enjoy mainly tube based electronics absolutely not everyone’s cup of tea, also a few solid ss audio device, at present in being more decisive in nature, the Audio streamer or transport endeavor an actuality is my only real deciding factor which thankfully does not oppose or present too much of a problem within the above particular areas as you have so stated. you absolutely encountered a wonderful find with your above named equipment no one probably understands more than myself. You want what you want. absolutely you’re going to have to negotiate and it’s gonna cost you either now or later however I think it’s safe to say it certainly appears that myself along with you have been involved within this hobby for quite some time. I certainly understand your position however I would state would proceed with caution within today’s current standing in High End Audio abilities in marketing , purchasing, or moving on from perhaps any present gear for lack of better terminology, again very best of luck to you very best wishes within your retirement that’s all that matters and personal opinion. Again have a good day ;-)

From the new Eversolo range, I’m particularly interested in the AMP-F8 or F6 for use with my kitchen DMP-A8, although there is very little information available on them at the moment. The R8 appears to have a simpler electrical design compared with the Z10, so I would be more interested in seeing a future R10; at present, I have no need for another DAC, as the Z10 serves me perfectly well.

I love the Z10. I almost bought a R2R DAC last winter until I saw a review on it on Amazon then lost interest. I would try a Gustard but too many import fees on items from China. I’m happy with the Z10 as it’s very transparent. It sounds much better than the internal DAC on my old Mark Levinson No 5206 preamp. I replaced it with another ML preamp with no DAC. Doesn’t make sense to have a preamp with internal DAC and a Z10. No going back on that system now. I’ll always have a separate DAC from the streamer now.

It depends on may factors, first of all all the digital outputs it may present... but as a rule of thumb, I would expect a DAC to cost more than an Android-based transport...
