I understand there are profiles for the Empyreans in the X9, but there are not many combinations of earpads. There are users who have had the original Empyreans for years, and have bought new pads that Meze have released, such as the DUO pads, or the Hybrid, or even Angled-Alcantara, the original weren't angled. Looking at the number of EQ profiles for the MEST MK2 IEM's with various types of tips, it seems reasonable to request that you add more combinations of Empyrean MK1 & MK2 + various types of pads, in my case, I'd specifically like Empyrean MK1 with the DUO pads Meze released for the Empyrean MK2.
That is what you call Customer support with a capital C. Keep it up, this is how it should be, but in this day and age it is admirable. Thank you, and I am every day enjoying the X9, still figuring out all options, settings, etc. And of course waiting for better and more headphones, in order to check out the real potential of the X9.
Actually, we’re more than happy to add more headphone models to our database. The main challenge is that for some models, especially those with different ear pad configurations, it’s very difficult to obtain accurate frequency response (FR) measurements. Once we have the correct FR data, adding it to our database is something we can complete very quickly. Thank you for the understanding.
No worries, thank you, just wanted to know it was on your radar. The user who made the very first post in this thread requested Empyrean Mk2 + Hybrid pads and got the same reply I got in a different forum - that the Alcantara and Leather pad versions were added, but no further info on other pad combinations, so I appreciate the response and I apologise that my tone was not as polite as it should have been. I also reached out to Meze and they said their sound engineers would be happy to send the EQ settings when time permits, so if they supply them I can send them through to you.
