Tv pass through Hi This is for the hdmi in and out. I want to hook it up to my TV via hdmi in on the a6 master gen 2 and then on the hdmi out send it to a wisa soundsend. So both the TV and the music passes on via hdmi out and on to the wireless speakers. Is this doable?
None of the digital inputs can be passed through to a digital output. All digital inputs can only be output through the analog outputs. -Ed
Is it possible to connect another DAC, for example from the same family - Luxin X8, to the Eversolo HDMI connector (output) via IIS (I2S)? Luxin X8 has 8 I2S (I2S) connection modes.
Hi Alktar, just sitting around here wasting time at least for this foreseeable moment, I have found the following information. I don’t know how helpful it may be to yourself, but I will try to present my findings , * NOTE/ naturally you didn't state which unit you are referring to that would give absolute ability In order to achieve proper useable information in question, I’m was assuming you are in use of correct information only for use in particular units , however I believe this found information in interest , states , T8 or A8 , However sorry my bad ! :-( , I should clarify in being very detailed or Decisive in nature , Following below, the best of my ability at the present time Sorry got to go , hope this will provide some answer in Question ? ⬇️ good luck with that, have a good day
DMP-A6 does not have IIS output. That HDMI port is an ARC input; they are not the same. It will not connect directly to X8 via that connection, you must use USB, Coax, or optical. -Ed
Hi Edd, yes, sorry not to make a very simple situation or equation of such complicated and lengthy. I know of one individual that had owned in A6, sorry, I have to actually lol, this particular individual had hook ups for almost anything, I would imagine today, absolute truth just about any kind or any type of an adapter that you could almost possibly imagine essentially they are available. How good they actually perform or operate an overall performance I absolutely have no idea. I guess what I’m trying to STATE is there’s just about a workaround for everything today. If you could almost imagine it or name it someone makes an adapter for it. How well most of these perform I absolutely have no idea, but I do remember him having quite a few adapters and they did work how well they worked sonic as I stated I actually have no idea but if you have a component today that has some incompatibility with another I guarantee you there’s an adapter out there today lol you have a wonderful day. I’m calling IT quits for a while * Theirs an entire forum of different equations in Direct reason that absolutely make no common sense, I would Assume that that’s just the nature of the beast, I absolutely understand folks that need or are exploring different avenues, myself I keep using and implementing what always worked, XLR, SPDIF, USB ect. however, that’s absolutely the entitlement of every individual that may believe or Think differently, no problems all good whatever! Some of these hookups are very unique to myself, I only employe 2 channel Audio in Bi-amp Stereo configuration only, I use a totally different setup for A & V with a somewhat older 80’inch flatscreen, I never integrate the 2 systems, yes to some extremely old school, I personally know A few , let’s say old heads that totally outright refuse to use or employ any P/C of any sort whatsoever in connection with their dedicated 2 channel Audio system, theirs still a few around believe it, a bit much, Maybe. Are they perhaps wrong or a little hard-core, in Audio reproduction I personally don’t think so, But that’s just me.
It makes no sense! Just use spdif, usb, aes/ebu Hdmi is video with multi-channel audio. I2s is a hardware cpu to dac protocol . Using I2s inbetween machines over a hdmi cable is creative at best.
That is technically correct; IIS is an internal communication protocol designed for use within circuit board design. This is why there is no standardized pin-out or even physical carrier format (HDMI, RJ-45, etc.). Generally speaking, it is best to stick to USB for anything native DSD or any PCM over 192KHz. Optical/Toslink, Coaxial S/PDIF, and AES/EBU are fine for PCM up to 192KHz. -Ed
