Gen1 Cyclic reboot - is there a way to get the devise back to working condition?

    My brief "success" story: I purchased this device second-hand, and everything worked fine for a short time. Then the device stopped booting, but I turned off the display, and it booted up and worked. The lack of a display was unpleasing, so I tried hard resetting it using the app. I succeeded, but now all I see is a logo and a black screen. Thanks in advance for any help.

    Have you tried a hard factory reset?


    Hardware/Recovery Reset (If Unit is Frozen):
    1. Turn off the DMP-A6 completely.
    2. Use a fine needle to press and hold the restore button on the back panel.
    3. While holding the back button, press the front volume knob to turn on the device.
    4. Release the button once the unit enters Android Recovery mode.
    5. Use the knob to navigate to Wipe data/factory reset and select it.
    6. Confirm with Reboot system now.

    Hi guys , excellent advice EddNog, if his unit is indeed powering up, that’s an excellent indicator that may be perhaps the unit can be restored or recovered, perhaps if the screen fails to function properly I would imagine he may be able to control the unit by using other means and use of , IPhone, iPad, or any small monitoring device
    That of course, would provide that type of capability I believe someone here had just picked a small one up for around $35/40.00 ,

    hypothetically, the instructions that you provided would certainly seem capable it to get the unit back up and running, The only part that leaves me in wonder as he says, stated the unit was up and running when he received it , I absolutely hope the best for him. If not, there has to be some type of provision to get it back online, very nice decisive instructions somewhat strange, the unit is going down, but yet it retains its power supply capabilities, idk ? Strange

    Thank you for your attention. When I turn on the device, it starts booting up automatically until a logo appears and the word "delete" briefly appears in Russian (which is very strange, since I only used English). This repeats continuously. I can't activate the service menu. What else can I do?

    Hi, wow I’m certainly sorry to hear that, that is definitely above my pay grade to,some degree, may I ask you something if I’m following you correctly, when the word DELETE
    appears, can you activate this delete option before it disappears off the the screen, ?

    This message appears for a split second, disappears and the device starts rebooting again.

    HI, Alright so what you are saying is the unit just keeps rebooting over and over again, unit you physically turn it off ? Correct?

    Almost sounds like your streamer got infected by Russian malware. Sadly, I have no further advice, sorry. @Zidoo Support-Kim any advice?

    yes even though you have been quite explanatory, there is still no substitute for actually having a specific unit as such in front of you which we all know is somewhat of an impossibility lol, I performed a quick review. This is everything material wise that I could find a present. My old computer guru won’t be around until Saturday., i’m almost certain you’ll get it straightened out, I could only hope some of this information may be helpful to yourself, hopefully speaking
    I would imagine EddNog. Could also possibly be quite correct in his opinion, I only performed a quick search please correct me if I’m wrong, but from what I understand some of these Internet standards in actual use of may not be available to folks in specific parts of the world or so I am told from others , idk ?

    I skipped the step of downloading the software update from a flash drive—that was a big mistake. I'll try that if I can.

    :) I believe this just maybe a big part of the problem. LOL sorry, please let me know how it gos, if you care to , no problems, something just didn’t sound right! However Your very welcome anytime, im absolutely No expert, I only know , what I know, a little old school, they can keep The new one, it’s all somewhat very interesting, but I have no interest however, I’m extremely happy for those that do, It’s all good, just personal preference just like anything else. you have a great day, skipped a Step ? It happens :) ….

    Add on / I have no way of knowing, if the files I had sent you were of any help, however, I thought perhaps it couldn’t hurt, idk ✅

    To my deepest regret, I cannot access the device's service menu and reinstall the firmware.

    Hi Metro, I would imagine that your most disappointed, as I am aware you have spent a great deal of time and trying to make this unit operational and functional
    Again, I am no expert in regards to this type of equipment , odd the USB , will not recognize on the initial start up, I would assume there are some type of underlying problems within the unit, however I would definitely state , it now appears that you are in much better hands as of now in regards to this particular issue many thanks to,

    :) Kim / from the Eversolo team, I most definitely would accept these recommendations at this time, absolutely it’s a bit of a disappointment and perhaps even a bit of a
    Inconvenience. However you will more than likely receive your Little unit returned in factory fresh condition and continue to proceed from there with no worries or concerns, wishing you all the best now and in the foreseeable future, sorry incidents and problems of this nature often and absolutely do occur. On the brighter side, this will most definitely will turn out to be a Good Thing. Get it fixed and rectified correctly and be done with it , good deal I most certainly think so :)

    Have decoupled/uninstalled all hdd, sdd, usb devices? AND hdmi cables!
