Firmware Update for DMP|Play|T8: OTA v1.5.75

If I have an album made up of two or more CDs, for example I have two ISOs that relate to this album, so CD1 and CD2, is there a way to ensure that the eversolo library merges these CDs? In the tags I put for example CD1 of 2 etc...how should I put them in the collection so that eversolo merges them?

 

Hi. You can put them in the same folder, then edit their discnumber in MP3tag like this:

 

They are ISO SACDs, they are in the same folder and numbered inside as 1/2 and 2/2 but it shows them to me separately

They are ISO images... can be very big... although you would always need at least two of them, to check... ;-)

 

Thanks for your interest, they are ISO images so quite large, I just wanted to know if there is a way that eversolo could put all the files consecutively, now I can edit the ISO files thanks to the beautiful program SACD ISO Patcher and inside it I put disc 1/2 and disc 2/2

 

It is mainly a software issue: in order to be classified as discs of the same album, some assumptions - from the library point of view - must be made, such as:
- same file-name + some suffix (such as -disc1, -disc2 etc)
- any filename, discrimination done exclusively by scanning all the metadata
I think it would be enough uploading those two ISOs, and sending a link to Kim for download.

 

The testers told me that except for ISO, the other format can be classified as expected. The ISO need to be tested to see..
