Firmware Update for DMP|Play|T8: OTA v1.5.60

I really like the new feature to edit meta data. In a future release, could we update it so when can update a whole album at once, instead of 1 track at a time. Generally, the reason I want to update meta data is to populate the Genre field. It would be way more efficient if once could change that for all tracks in an album at once. Let me know if I’m missing a way to do this with the current update.

 

Unfortunately I have to give up using my files via the Eversolo library, even with the latest version 1.5.60 it always crashes and I often have to manually turn off the device, there is no way to make the library card work, the wheel always turns but it does not let me see the folders, the other cards are also very slow, so at the moment I navigate the NAS via files and from there I can use my files, let's hope that with the next updates stability will be achieved

 

I'm also having issues with Radio Paradise playback since the update. There is a dropout as one track ends and another begins. This is happening with the Mellow mix and the Main mix. I haven't tested the other mixes as yet. @Zidoo Support-Kim - hoping this can be resolved soon

 

How many files did you add to the library?

 

Hi I have problems in T8 & UPnP specifically JPLAY FEMTO music server. Similar situation as reported by user Kyama (https://forum.zidoo.tv/index.php?threads/firmware-update-for-dmp-play-t8-ota-v1-5-60.102553/page-3)
My T8 & UPnP work well in MinimServer2, Bubble UPnPServer, Lyrion Music Server. Each server has their own pros and cons.
My 1st choice is JPLAY FEMTO mainly because the app is in Windows Service on startup, I don't have to log in each time to activate the app unlike other app servers. I'm running headless Audio PC as music source in addition to T8.
Although T8 UPnP can detect JPLAY FEMTO music files the song contents are shown 0B. Have updated latest Eversolo firmware.

For large-scale modifications, I think it's faster to use a computer. I use the Mp3tag software for editing.

 

So more and more people are becoming aware of this problem. I'm very glad that others have spoken up since I mentioned it and that Eversolo will rectify the situation.

 

Don’t worry, it should be fixed soon. In the meantime, you can enjoy music from other music services. Try listening to Internet Radio — it also includes Radio Paradise.

I would not consider 1-2 CD’s to be large scale.

 

Unfortunately I think this is the problem, I have over 195,000 songs and from what I can see it can't manage them, the thing that bothers me most, however, is that the library tab if I go to it via the application cannot load, there is the wheel that always spins, but if I go to it from the device it shows me all my folders..... Anyway now to have stability I deleted the library and if I want to listen to something from my files I go to it via navigation on smb..... with foobar2000 I use the same library without any problems and it's very fast.

 

Hello. I am the owner of an eversolo play. Every time I turn it on, it tries to update to version 1.5.60, but it only downloads about 32 kbit and then displays an update download error. Why is this happening, and how can I fix it? However, the update to version 1.5.46 was successful the first time. I have tried using both Wi-Fi and a cable, but I still get the same download error.

 

With 16tb of potential disk space available I would imagine that it could even end-up around 250.000-300.00 (depending on resolution) .. But even at a mere 45.000 files this problem exists ... While I appreciate this first attempt, clearly it still needs some additional development.

 

What I would try, to clear the buffer, is I totally power cycle it. That is, turn it off. Then remove the plug. Wait 30 seconds. Then replug and power cycle back on. Good luck!

 

Thanks for the advice, but unfortunately it didn't help... It still shows that I've downloaded 499 kilobits in all my attempts. The download error continues to appear.

 

Even a factory reset didn't help... This is abnormal!
