1. Added automatic volume reset when headphone is unplugged
• When the headphone is unplugged, the headphone output volume will return to the default value.

2. Added input source editing
• Allows customization of the device input sources.

3. Minimum output volume set to -70dB
• The output volume can now be set as low as -70dB.

4. Added default boot volume options: -40dB and -50dB
• Default boot volume can be set to either -40dB or -50dB.

5. Added volume passthrough switch
• Supports enabling or disabling the volume passthrough function.

6. Added volume limit function
• Allows limiting the maximum volume to prevent excessively loud output.

7. Optimized TRIGGER linkage when screen is off
• The device will now correctly link TRIGGER to power off when the screen is off.

8. Optimized quick power on/off
• Fixed occasional no-sound issue during rapid power on/off.

1. Fixed the issue of occasional automatic restart of the device

Does this mean they can be labled? Can the order be changed?

Does this mean that the volume can be controlled from say a T8 Transport?

It means that the volume of the Z10 will be fixed at 0dB, so you'll need to regulate it elsewhere: either in the upstream T8, or in a downstream amp.

 

Is this where all updates for Eversolo products are released? I have the Z10 and didn't see this update on the Eversolo site.

Yes, it can. However it's not recommended, the volume controlled from DAC would be great.

 

This looks a really worthwhile update... any idea when it will be released to the official site? My Mac simply won't open the .PKG file no matter how much I try to swerve the security and privacy settings

 

Can I be the thousandth person to suggest being able to rename inputs would be great?

Installed yesterday, but the only change i saw was the Added volume passthrough switch, and
I experienced a issue when accessing the DAC from the app: it restarts.

 

Same here, it will only restart if I try and access the DAC from the app. I don't really mind because I don't use the app for the DAC but hopefully they'll get that bug worked out.

Would be nice to have the option to disable "Screen turns on when adjusting volume", like on my T8.

Also, coming out of screen off mode, cycling through homepage styles via remote control displays the first style for a second, then skips to the next style.

 

Lots of users with issues on the latest Z10 update. When will this be fixed??
