Hello Pilli, I would most definitely say Yes, numerous problems have been reported and in which I believe are currently present and ongoing at this particular time, unfortunately still persist There certainly appears to be many ongoing concerns regarding this situation, I have personally had a minor issue characterized as unit Lockup or freeze up, unit also Completely shutting down in repetition having to restart I have just performed a full factory reset on my personal unit, DMP A8. in absolute opinion in regards to the above situation, I believe I would most certainly reframe from installing this newest or latest update or upgrade, however after performing a full factory, System Reset the unit seems to appear and function or operates, performs , completely normal in use Flawlessly within this particular time, if you proceed to search the forum unfortunately there are several users with particular occurrences which absolutely appear to be OS or operating system, related causing malfunction of the same, again, I would exercise caution in the instillation or use of , V 1.5.62 again, in my personal opinion, however best of luck to yourself , wait until Eversolo has Rectified , it happens. * Please have a nice week & weekend enjoy the music
* Good move better safe than sorry, I certainly did not really unjoy reentry and installing entering all the particulars along with other information ect, that naturally had to be reinstalled and re-entered back into the unit itself, Absolutely not fun whatsoever , but with out question well worth the time and effort, lol. I honestly believe this deters a good number of users in standing in thought the factory reset is most likely or indeed the easier part in situation of performing so. I believe it then comes to mind all information and adjustments now must be Set adjusted and reinstalled and so on ect, not very favorable in overall thought of performing the factory reset in it’s entirety. oh well so far so good, Again, have a nice day……
Hi. , I may be wrong, I don’t believe so, v 1.5.62, absolutely nothing but problems, in my experience with numerous others, the only update or upgrade I personally ever received , in 2 years past No problems whatsoever until installation of current, v 1.5.62 , on a DMP-A8. I wouldn’t be to Concerned about installing this particular update or upgrade, again quite a few people are stating the same, throughout the web. Performed full factory reset, problems resolved for approximately 1 -2 weeks ,After reappeared occurrences of the same however not as Persistent prior to doing so, Personally, I would absolutely forget about this update, Upgrade at this particular moment in time, however that’s your decision, very best of luck be with you… * RE/ unit freezes up, totally locks up or shuts down., selected Radio stations change, ect, please have a nice day enjoy the music
No problem here with 1.5.62 and a T8. But I believe this version will never be officially released and that Eversolo is currently working on a new version.
Hi, Sounds very feasible with T8, also must keep in mind there’s no Dac in the T8, absolutely a beautiful dedicated transport only, I honestly could not stipulate how much this update or upgrade would apply in part of this units operating system or functionality, on a particular weekend we had a wonderful chance in the ability of comparing the T8 to the A8, naturally strictly using as a transport , server only. as the night went into the weekend and wound down through the end , in having 4 people present , No one really knew what unit was actually in use at all times , until the completion in end , both were totally obstructed in View completely, perhaps overall listening fatigue. No one had actually arrived at any solid conclusions in any overall differences in Sonics that deviated in any audible manner, In final conclusion from one unit to another, but there are absolute problems with V 1.5.62 in all honesty there were already pre-existing problems with the V 1.5.60 however they’re minor annoyances no one I know here is overly concerned with such small nuances in experiencing overall conflicts or malfunctions with the OS/ or updated operating system no big concern in conclusion, however some users have complained and expressed frustration and other concerns in which is totally understandable and acceptable in their personal opinion, I agree in their personal beliefs and opinions. updates, upgrades could always shown worse.
