Firmware 1.0.0.16 officially released for X9

    We are pleased to announce that Firmware v1.0.0.16 is now officially released for the Luxsin X9.

    To update, simply go to: About → Upgrade → Online Upgrade on your X9.

    Firmware 1.0.0.16 release note :

    1. Added 2 new spectrum analyzer modes
    2. Added VU meter sensitivity setting
    3. Added power button single-click options: DIM / MUTE (DIM reduces volume by 15 dB)
    4. Fixed occasional playback issue when pausing via optical input
    5. Fixed issue where third-party remotes could incorrectly control X9
    6. Corrected loudness label capitalization
    7. Increased retry attempts after Wi-Fi connection failure
    8. Fixed audio dropout issue when adjusting volume (introduced by the Loudness function in firmware 1.0.0.15)
    9. Optimized power button long-press logic: when the screen is off, long-pressing the power button now powers off the unit directly

    The new spectrum is really nice thing to add! (More of that!)
    Could you guys add some filters like Super Slow Roll-Off filter?
    I love my Luxsin x9, nice to see you guys work on it and make updates!

    goes to "audio setting" -> "filters", you can find the super slow roll-off filter here.

    Thanks for the regular updates! In a future release maybe you would consider replacing the 'breathing' volume knob light with dimmer settings instead. The pulsing is very weird since it is not in time with the music etc.

    FW 1.0.0.16:
    I have set the Key Settings > Power key to "DIM" but it still mutes to -100dB when pressing the key shortly (4.4mm headphone out, no eq, optical in)

    Please check if you turn on the "Pre-out Volume passthrough" mode or not.

    Yes. The mode is on. But as I wrote above, I was using the key while on the (4.4mm) headphone out which has full volume control.

    Thanks for your feedback, we found this bug.
    if you turn it off, the DIM function will work properly, and this bug will be fixed in next firmware.

    Translator: Luxsin x9 purchased September 7, 2025. Firmware 1.0.0.16 installed. New spectrum analyzer not there. Can't find it. Luxsin x9 great product.
