Hi. Recently, I acquired a T8 streamer to replace Wiim Ultra. So far, I'm happy with everything except the counterintuitive work of the screensaver. Can you make an "always on display" mode? I'm pleased to be able to see the current time and date on the screen. Unfortunately, when not using the streamer, the screen is always turned off. Thank you for your attention.
To the post above. It seems to me that the screenserver should turn on (and remain active on the screen constantly, not turn off after five minutes) if the streamer is not in use, and not a certain time after the playback is turned on (which has now been implemented).
This has been requested quite a few times now since the T8's release, with, sadly, no sign of this option becoming available. If I understand your 'complaint' correctly (i.e. you want the screen on all the time) the best workaround is to 'sideload 'a settings shortcut apk and once 'installed' you can get to the underlying Android OS settings for the screen and set to 'always on'. Worked for me - and several others. Have a search on here for the background and workaround steps.
Feature Request: 1) Using the Eversolo control app, it would be useful to have a tab (not sure tab is the correct word) so you can quickly move the page up and down without needing to scroll. This would make it much easier to navigate the folder if you have many files. This is used commonly in other android apps, such as bubbleupnp, or stock android on a phone. It's marked no 1 in pink colour in my screenshot, to the right hand side. 2) Of lesser importance to me than no 1, still might as well mention that it would be useful to see the progress of the track being played (so the line moves as the track progresses in time) at the bottom of the screen. For those occasions when you want to keep the folder view active without clicking on the track, which I often do. Marked no 2 in pink at bottom. Thanks..!
Forwarded, thanks for your feedback. It's available in the app on iOS, the request for Android is also submitted now.
