This is probably unrealistic for several reasons, but it would be amazing if a future Eversolo transport/device could be Dirac compatible! If Bluesound can offer it, Eversolo should be capable of doing it as well. Thank you!
just got my T8 this pm. so far Qobuz Connect is stable especially compared to WiiM Ultra which was randomly flaky. and for first time, using fiber network connection, it seems just as good or better than ethernet wire. but i've got couple of T8 questions: 1) is Spotify Lossless coming soon? 2) how can i add a specific radio station to the main screen? as it is, i have TuneIn but i have to go at least couple of more clicks.
Is it possible to implement a color change from the orange stand bye button of the t8. I would like changing it into a white color. Maybe make it a option to choose between orange and white (or more colors of possible) in the menu.
Hi @Zidoo Support-Kim Would it be possible to rename T8 into Eversolo T8? Whenever I want to use any of the connect options (Tidal, Qobuz, Spotify) I have to scroll down the entire list of receivers in my household that (to make things worse) are often duplicated over Chromecast and Connect entries ... Renaming it in the app or in an Android utility doesn't change the hard-coded model name, it only replaces the MAC address. Chaning the hard-coded model name would also standardise the location where the device would be found in such lists ... A6 and A8 players currently sit at the top of such lists while the T8 sits almost at the bottom. In my situation for the T8 that means #13 in the device list. I could live with every Eversolo device sitting at E in the alphabetic ranking instead of T

I did do this already… But you’re only changing what is between ( ) … So the T8 letters remain leading for the alphabetical order … (As your screenshot also illustrates )
I am sorry WDitters. Personally, I prefer how T8 is named at present. I hope Eversolo could come up with an option that meets your requirements, and that would be great.
When doing the count I forgot about my A6 and A8 … They sit all the way at the top of the list, (starting with the first letter of the alphabet) .. Then come all my network enabled individual Bluetooth Naim Mu-Sos (all appearing twice, once under Qobuz connect and Chrome-cast) … And not forget my Chrome-Cast multiroom groups … This results even in a #15 spot for the T8, not #13 The irony is that my wife and kids are the ones using the chromecast entries .. So disabling Chromecast on all devices is not an option Having said that, an alternative solution would be cancelling Qobuz and go to Spotify (arranges by device type) or Tidal (ignores Chromecast) …
I know it may be annoying, but is it really that hard to swipe a finger up quickly and have the list almost immendiately reach it end position at #15...? Just asking, as I do not see the problem as big as you do.
It's not hard, just annoying ... Changing the model names by adding the brand name in front would at least group all Eversolo devices (A6, A8, A10, Play, T8 and potentially a future T10) neatly together under the E from Eversolo ...
@Zidoo Support-Kim Hi Kim, I would also like to repeat a request for basic DLNA/UPNP server capabilities ... With 8tb storage inside my T8 and 6 users in my household who are regularly requesting access to my locally stored music collection, purchasing an extra NAS seems so excessive given the fact that I don't need the rest of the functionality that a NAS brings ... The Shanling SM1.3 and SMT1.3 do offer that functionality and it works seamlessly .. I would love to see that also added to the Eversolo range, That, or allow something like BubbleUPNP to access and serve the Everssolo local music storage to external clients....
I would like to be able to select inputs from the companion app on my phone. My A6 Master Edition had that functionality and I’m confused why the T8 doesn’t.
