    Hi,

I would greatly appreciate a feature that enables HTTP streaming.

I simply want to play video files in their original quality via a direct URL. For example, in Infuse or Kodi, I can stream a video directly from a link.

While Zidoo supports SMB shares, this requires me to always have a copy stored on my local network, which is not ideal.

It would be fantastic if the Home Theater app—or the system itself—could include an option for direct URL playback.

One potential use case is with Jellyfin when selecting the native Zidoo video player as the “external player.” Currently, this works within my local network, but when I try accessing content outside my network or from shared libraries, it fails.

Thank you for considering this feature!

    Best regards,

    Ben

Looks like you're trying to stream videos directly from a URL instead of storing them on a local network. Right now, the Home Theater app doesn't support direct HTTP streaming. Hopefully, they'll add this feature in future updates, which could fix the issue with streaming from outside your network or shared libraries.
