I have been using a DMP-A10 for 10 months now and there are still problems with the firmware of the A10 and the app. - Not all albums are displayed in the album view on both the A10 and in the app. For example, an album by Aaron Neville is not displayed in the app or on the A10 under albums, but it was scanned (number of titles is correct). When I search for Aaron Neville under Artists, the album is displayed. In the app, the music player shows a total of 1457 albums instead of 1460, even though I have completely re-imported all libraries (detach/attach). Update: After scanning the library again completely (detach/attach), all albums are now displayed --> by chance? I don't know... - When scrolling in the album view, the app occasionally freezes and has to be restarted. - Playlists can still be exported, but cannot be imported again once the library has been re-read. - Favourites marked with a red heart have also disappeared after a complete library scan. - In the album view, it is still not possible to sort by the ID tag ‘Artistsort’. - Scrolling through the album view is still relatively slow (the display halted roughly every 99 albums), as the album covers do not appear to be completely cached on the mobile device. I think it's generally good when new features are added with every firmware or app update (it is questionable whether there always has to be new VU meters or other design stuff), but perhaps the basic functions should be as error-free as possible before new features are added. I understand that it is more exciting for software developers to programme new functions than to eliminate errors, but at the end of the day, it's all about customer satisfaction. Firmware A10: 1.5.46 App-Version: 1.15.45 Mobile devices: Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S25+ all with Android 16 WLAN: WiFi 7 with average 1 Gbit/s and 4 ms latency Titles: 19791, albums: 1460 distributed across 5 libraries over NFS on QNAP Regards, KrischanHH
Hello Krischan HH, Thanks for your detailed description. 1. It's probably the data anomaly. 2. Please record a video to showcase. 3. Could you please take a video as well? Thanks.
1. It's probably the data anomaly. I think not, because the not displayed albums are not always the same ones. Currently all albums are displayed. I will see when I will make a complete rescan the next time. 2. Please record a video to showcase. I cleared the complete network setup in my tablet and I investigate now if the problem will occur again. 3. Could you please take a video as well? I think a video will not clarify the issue because "Artistsort" is an additional tag for audiofiles like mp3, flac and so on like "Artist", "Title", "Albumartist", "Tracknumber"... The "Aristsort" tag is used for sorting the albums in the right manner. Currently in the Eversolo control app the artist "Eric Clapton" is displayed under the letter "E", but he should appear under "C". When you are using the additional "Artistsort" tag in your audiofiles, in the current example you have under the tag "Artist" or "Albumartist" "Eric Clapton" and in the "Artistsort" tag "Clapton, Eric". The advantage of this is that in the control app under album view the name is displayed "Eric Clapton" and the albums are sorted under "C". So, if the Eversolo Control app will analyse the "Artistsort" tag the albums werde displayed in the right manner like in a record store When you have a group like "Rolling Stones" you can leave the "Aristsort" tag empty so that there are sorted under "R" I have already posted it under: https://forum.zidoo.tv/index.php?threads/sort-order-in-new-android-control-app-1-14-23.100293/ Kind regards, KrischanHH
I see. Looking forward to your videos. 3. Our dev has noted and replied: https://forum.zidoo.tv/index.php?th...droid-control-app-1-14-23.100293/#post-256001 Just no plan in recent.
I cleared the whole network setup, but it fixed not the issue. Regarding this issue, I recorded a short video to show you the strange beahviour of the Eversolo Control App. I am in the album view of the library and everything works fine like scrolling up and down or select a letter from the right side of the screen. Than I changed the view to e.g. "Album Artist", change back to "Albums" and select a letter from the right screenside or refresh the screen, than the blue circle comes and scrolling up and down is not possible anymore. So I have to close and reopen the app again. I can reproduce this behaviour on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 tablet and my Samsung Galaxy S25+ smartphone. I cleared the app cache and data, reinstall the app but nothing changed.
