    After the recent update to 1.4.75 the Tidal API still hasn't been fixed. @Support-Kim is there any update on this?

    Hello Meanoniem and Chiller61. I'm sorry to say that the homepage issue of API still exists, since the API call isn't available using the public API.
    We are still waiting to get permission to use an internal API. And I'll keep following this issue.

    Hello,

    With the Firmware 1.4.76 for an DMP A8, I have an issue when I try to use the global search on the A8 device. It is possible to enter an search request
    but as soon as I press enter to launch the search, there is a crash and the interface on the screen of the A8 goes to the home page.
    With an Android phone and the Eversolo Control app, the global search works.

    I have a question also with this FW version, how is it possible to import a playlist from a file (m3u file for example) with the screen of the A8 device.
    It is possible to do it with the Eversolo Control app on a Android phone but I think something is missing on the interface on the screen of the A8 device.

    You may correct about the iPhone control app to be true incorrect with you. I really shouldn’t even be leaving you. This comment I do own and Eversolo A8 , in which I have now owns for approximately. I’ll say at least one year I can control everything you can think of with the iPhone app with one exception you cannot turn it on everything else I can do, I am happy to hear you are running the latest version or upgrade that was just previous released from past experience. I would say that you’re quite lucky out of probably five or six upgrades. I had problems afterwards with them all but 2

    now keep in mind before these upgrades or updates whatever you would like to call them. I had no previous problems with anything until past updates which thankfully they were rectified through Eversolo sending out supplementary. I’m gonna call them little upgrades to the past upgrade as of today, leaving you this post. I have no problems with the A8 , however, from past experiences, as stated above, I would’ve never ever put or took that new upgrade at least until a fair amount of time had passed, which would’ve gave you a chance to see how well it performs or works. Sorry to hear you’re having problems. I’m sure they will be rectified before this no or previous upgrade. Did you have the problems then that you now speak of if you did not it is more than likely do to the new firmware or upgrade

    I keep my network settings on manual. In other words take no automatic or auto upgrades. I learned that the hard way upon waking up one morning and turning my unit on in which it had taken a download firmware upgrade sometime during the night that I was unaware of which caused me numerous problems but thankfully, only for a short period of time I take no upgrades. I’m sure your situation will shortly be corrected. Good luck to you and happy listening

    My Library is stored on an internal 4TB SSD. The Library currently holds approx. 50K tracks. Any rescan or update of the library takes 1-2 hrs.
    On a daily basis I add new albums to my library or alter the tags of existing files on the SSD. Every time I have to repeat the rescan or update of the Library.
    Is there anyway that I could speed up this process?

    With my current software (Audirvana) I am used to new files or alterations of the tags being added instantly and once in a while (max 4 times annually) I do an optimization of the Library, that suffices. Is there any way that such a mechanism is build into Eversolo?

    To avoid any confusion, this is not an issue with the Eversolo Control app on an iphone or an android phone but with the A8 itself and its interface.
    This issue occurs when I try to perform a global search from the A8 device screen.

    2. Here are the steps to import m3u files:

    Home page -- Apps --My Favorites -- My -- Device Playlists -- View all
    Then click the button at the top-right corner to import

    Thank you for your reply.

    When I will be at home, I will try the steps to import m3u files.

    Concerning the global search, in the home page, I use the search icon (widget) to launch the search process.
    In the filter, I have my local library and deezer which are activated. On the A8 screen, I enter for example 'Kraftwerk' as a search request
    and I press the return key to start the global search. At this point, the A8 comes back to the home page without any response to my search request.

    About the item 1 :

    I'm going to describe what I do with screenshots of the A8 screen.

    From the home page :

    I press the search button, I obtain this page where I request my search :

    After the press on OK, I launch the search and a first page is displayed during 1 second :

    So, I press OK and after that I re-load the data which I saved just after the installation of the FW 1.4.76 :

    For example, my playlists are not present. Just after the installation of the FW, I have this (the play lists are present):

    Moreover, the My page is strange because I have only my Favorite Artists and nothing else:

    I tried to restart from the FW 1.3.30 up to FW 1.4.76 (by the path of 1.3.80, 1.4.01 and 1.4.32) and at each step I used the data restore process to load the backup I did for each FW.
    At the 1.4.32, I have the followings page :

    Notice that the My Favorites app is working with the 1.4.32 version:

    I switched the language to English (United States) and effectively all the issues are solved (global search and My Favorites app).

    So, the bug seems the use of the French language.

    Welcome. The issue of the use of French would be fixed in the next version firmware.

    I am using the vertical mode of the screen function in the Eversolo control app well. In particular, in the case of Apple Music, the Eversolo main body's screen is in a horizontal form, so it was very inconvenient to operate, but it was very convenient that the control app supported vertical mode.
    However, I found that the Eversolo control app for large screens such as iPad or Galaxy Tab does not support this vertical mode.

    I hope that the control app for tablets will also support vertical mode in a future update. I am even more excited because the use of Apple Music has improved dramatically.

    I am very satisfied with the Eversolo CD player update.
    It is very good that the CD progress information is displayed and especially the CD meta information shows the album name, artist, song, and track title.

    If the album art cannot be loaded, it would be nice to be able to choose to automatically load the previously saved cover photo. (Specify the location. Apply the automatically assigned cover photo to each CD)

    If I were to put the photos in a separate folder, even if it is not the music folder, and designate it for each CD, it would be better if it was automatically applied the next time the CD was inserted.

    Thanks. It's recommended to rip the CD track to the hard drive, then put the cover picture in the album folder.

    I'm letting you know about an error that my friend found while using the Eversolo screen function.

    When running Apple Music in vertical mode with the Galaxy S23U, the touchpoint works accurately without any errors, but on the Galaxy S7 Tab, there are a lot of touchpoint errors under the same conditions (vertical mode).

    When running Apple Music and other apps in landscape mode, they run normally without any touchpoint errors.

    Please check the Galaxy Tab S7 for other third-party apps (Apple Music Classic and streaming apps) that also have touchpoint errors in vertical mode.

    If you find any problems, please improve them.

    To use the CD Player app in the Eversolo control app, I currently have to either use the 'Screen' mirroring feature or navigate through 'Files' to the 'CD-ROM' section to play a CD. The UI of the newly updated CD Player app is excellent, and it's a shame there isn't a direct shortcut to it within the mobile control app. Services like Apple Music, Tidal, Qobuz, and Internet Radio all have convenient shortcuts, but the CD Player lacks this. I hope this detail will be added in a future firmware update.

    I feel a little self-conscious as it seems I'm the only one continuously posting bug-related issues recently. Still, I write these out of my affection for Eversolo, so please bear with me.

    I use an Eversolo SSD to manage and listen to my music collection. My primary method is creating and playing playlists directly on the device. I've always appreciated that when I would 'favorite' (like) a song within a playlist, this 'liked' status would correctly carry over and be visible if I located that same song through its album or another source. Conversely, marking a song as a favorite from its album view would also properly update its status within any associated playlists.

    Since the firmware update to version 1.4.76, I've noticed an issue where 'favorited' songs in playlists are not consistently displaying their 'liked' status. This problem continues in version 1.4.82. Although the 'Favorite' indicator might show up after a device reboot, it occasionally disappears when I actually play the song.

    Could you please look into this inconsistency
